OBJECTIVE The Building Manager is responsible for being a "working" manager and overseeing a crew of in-house employees and/or independent contractors, ensuring cleaning of assigned locations is performed to City Wide standards and delivering exemplary results/customer service to the client. As a manager, this employee is expected to be punctual and professional as he/she represents us as “the company.” ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Daily job responsibilities/functions include, but are not limited to: Vacuum, sweep, and mop flooring and stairs. Clean and sanitize bathrooms. Clean sinks, countertops, microwaves, and refrigerators in break rooms. Restock supplies in restrooms, break rooms and common areas. Empty all trash cans and replace liners and clean receptacles as necessary. Dust and clean office desks and furniture that are not cluttered. Clean windowsills and windows. Maintain janitor closets in a clean, organized, and safe manner. Maintain janitorial equipment in a clean, safe, and operable condition. Proper labeling, dilution, and use of all chemicals. Wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment always. Other routine janitorial duties as assigned Utilize the Timekeeping system for verification of all time. Communicate with the immediate supervisor for any daily priorities or changes in the standard schedule. Correct and handle all Client complaints or requests following City Wide policy Communicate any HR issues and/or work-related injuries. Communicate with the Client through a supervisor or use a logbook to communicate daily Perform any other duties as required by the position. Education · High School Diploma or equivalent Experience · 6 months to 1-year supervisory experience preferred Knowledge, skills, and abilities · Ability to perform routine walking, standing, and bending for extended periods · Ability to independently carry items weighing less than 50 lbs. Position Overview  We are seeking an experienced Facilities Manager to run the operations, security, maintenance, and compliance for our 30,000 sq ft lithium-ion battery R&D facility. The facility includes a dryroom, hazardous material storage, laboratories, and office areas.
