Recovery Coach / Peer Support Specialist – Remote with Connecticut Community Engagement At Pathfinder Recovery, we know that the voice of lived experience is one of the most powerful tools in recovery. We are seeking a Certified Recovery Coach / Peer Support Specialist (RSS, CPRS, CPSRP, or CCAR) to join our forward-thinking team in a remote role with periodic in-person community engagement. This is an opportunity for someone who is passionate about guiding others through the challenges of recovery while leveraging the latest technology to make a real difference. In this role, you will combine your certification, your personal journey, and your professional expertise to help clients set goals, overcome obstacles, and build sustainable recovery paths. You’ll work primarily in a virtual environment, with the chance to connect face-to-face in your community to strengthen relationships and networks. Key Responsibilities Provide one-on-one peer support and recovery coaching via phone, video, and other digital platforms Empower clients to set, pursue, and achieve their recovery goals through personalized action planning Create safe, supportive spaces for clients to share experiences and access guidance without judgment Facilitate remote peer support groups to foster connection and community among participants Help clients navigate treatment, healthcare, and recovery-oriented resources in Connecticut. Track progress, maintain accurate documentation, and ensure adherence to clinical and regulatory standards Offer practical support in areas such as life skills, employment stability, financial management, and social support Participate in local events, outreach, and recovery networks in your home state several times per year Use AI-powered medical records and telehealth platforms to streamline care and enhance client engagement Collaborate with clinicians, counselors, and other team members for a coordinated approach to recovery What We’re Looking For RSS, CPRS, CPSRP, or CCAR Certification (Required) Must reside in Connecticut.
