Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced and dependable Residential Care Manager to oversee day-to-day operations across our three assisted living homes. The ideal candidate will have a working knowledge of Texas HHS assisted living regulations and be passionate about leading caregivers, managing care coordination, and maintaining high operational standards. Responsibilities Your primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to: 1. Family Communication – Serve as the main point of contact for resident families. 2. Resident Admissions & Assessments – Conduct assessments and ensure smooth intake. 3. Resident Care Oversight – Ensure resident care plans are followed and updated. 4. Caregiver Support & Oversight – Assist with hiring, onboarding, coaching, and scheduling. 5. Facility Operations – Oversee supplies, groceries, and maintenance reporting. 6. Clinical & VA Coordination – Manage appointments, therapies, and VA case manager communication. 7. Communication & Documentation – Maintain accurate logs and provide weekly updates to ownership. 8. Leadership & Initiative – Model Serenity Pointe’s values and support team morale. Schedule - Position: Facility Manager (Full-Time, Non-Exempt) - Regular Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM. - Work Arrangement: 2–3 days on-site at facilities; 2 days administrative. - Weekend Coverage: On-call as needed (resident admissions, caregiver no-shows, family tours, urgent facility issues). Weekend hours will be compensated at your hourly rate. Qualifications: - Required: Verifiable experience as an assisted living facility manager or similar leadership role in assisted living - Required: Working knowledge of Texas Health and Human Services (HHS) regulations for assisted living - Experience as a caregiver - Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills - Ability to multitask across facilities with professionalism and attention to detail - Comfortable with basic technology: Airtable, Google Workspace, medication tracking tools, and form-based workflows Compensation: ● This position is a salaried role with guaranteed weekly pay, plus weekend on-call compensation as worked. ● Base Salary Total: $2,775 per month. ● Weekend On-Call: Additional hours will be paid at $13.50/hour when worked. ● Orientation: A two-week paid orientation period will be provided at the start of employment. Benefits ● Health Insurance: Coverage provided (details separately). ● Paid Time Off (PTO): 5 days per year during your first year of employment. Beginning in year two, PTO will increase to 10 days per year. PTO may be used for vacation, illness, or personal time, with prior approval. ● Paid Holidays: 6 major holidays will be observed with pay. ● Birthday Off: One additional paid day off each year to celebrate your birthday. ● Flex Time: If weekend on-call work or after-hours responsibilities extend beyond normal weekly hours, you may flex time within the same pay period with approval. ● Cell Phone Reimbursement: $25 per month to offset work-related phone usage. ● Mileage Reimbursement: Reimbursement for personal vehicle use when traveling between Serenity Pointe homes, at the IRS standard mileage rate. ● Retirement Stipend: $50 per month provided to support contributions to your personal retirement savings account (e.g., IRA).
