Med Surg RN Contract Starting at $50/hr WorkFit Medical Staffing, PLLC is seeking dedicated and experienced Medical Surgical Nurses to join our team. In this role, you will provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in a medical-surgical unit, focusing on patient assessment, treatment, and education. As a vital part of the healthcare team, you will collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes and safety. Call/text today! 585-880-1266 Michaela Starting Payrate: $50/hr Key Responsibilities Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop individualized care plans. Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders. Monitor patient progress and vital signs, responding to any changes promptly. Educate patients and families on post-operative care and health management. Collaborate with the healthcare team to coordinate comprehensive patient care. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient information and care provided. Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care standards. Requirements Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of New York. Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred; Associate’s degree in Nursing (ADN) accepted. Minimum of one year of medical-surgical nursing experience required. Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills. Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) is a plus. Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as necessary.
