Redwood Hollow Cottages Historic Vacation Rentals in beautiful La Jolla, CA is seeking a Part-Time Front Desk Associate to work Sundays and Mondays, with occasional availability to cover additional shifts as needed including weekends & Holidays. This role is perfect for someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys maintaining beautiful spaces, and provides excellent customer service. Job Responsibilities: Assist with light property maintenance and upkeep. Support guest turnover and cottage preparation. Conduct inspections to ensure high cleanliness and quality standards. Help with organization of supplies and inventory. Report any maintenance issues promptly. Occasionally assist with guest needs or requests on-site. Requirements: Must be extremely detail-oriented and dependable. Reliable transportation is required. Ability to work independently and efficiently. Comfortable with light physical tasks (walking the property, lifting small items, etc.) Friendly, professional demeanor—guest-friendly attitude a plus. Help control food cost and usage by following proper requisition of products from storage areas, product storage procedures, standard recipes and waste control procedures. Maintain proper food holding and refrigeration temperature control points. Assist with department inventory when asked. Qualifications: A minimum of 1 years of experience in varied sushi operations. Must be able to communicate clearly with managers, kitchen and dining room personnel and guests. Be able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 50 pounds.
