The Data Center Engineer will be responsible for providing high level technical support and troubleshooting, while working with a team of dynamic professionals who are driven to provide exemplary service delivery to customers and clientele. Requirements Responsible for helping drive and support service delivery for customers throughout the deployment lifecycle (plan, design, implement, optimize, document). Sophisticated troubleshooting abilities consisting of Data Center Services, Switching and Computing support. Ability to apply analytical skills and technical knowledge to solve product and software problems of moderate to high complexity. Staging and Implementation of the technologies listed. Ability to determine root cause and resolution for previously unknown problems and to the customers satisfaction. Provide project status on a regular basis, while answering customer questions timely and professionally. Create project deliverables such as requirements documents, cabling details, cutover plans, resiliency test plans, and drawings. Provide informal customer knowledge transfer if required. Qualifications 8-10 + years’ experience demonstrating a significant level of expertise in Storage and Virtualization technologies. Experience with Storage, Compute, Virtualization, and Hyper-converged abilities. Must have Cohesity experience Experience with Cisco UCS, Nutanix, VMware Background with Fibre Channel switching (MDS, Nexus FCoE, Brocade). Skilled in Ethernet switching as it pertains to IP storage & hypervisor host connectivity. Experience with Cisco HyperFlex HX. + include Pure Storage, VMware Horizon View, VMware Site Recovery Manager a plus. A general understanding of Layer 3 Routing Protocols. The Senior Quality Engineer, Software will have continuous involvement and participation with the development teams to design, build, and test software products and underlying components. The final offer will also be influenced by the candidate's skills, responsibilities, and relevant experience. Compensation Range The Compensation Range for this role is $140,000 - $190,000 DOE.
