The ideal candidate will have experience with structured cabling systems and be comfortable working overnight shifts in a fast-paced environment. ⸻ Key Responsibilities: • Install, remove, and test Cat6 Ethernet cabling and wireless access points. • Pull, terminate, and label Cat6 lines according to project specifications. • Complete cable runs across large facilities (over 286,000 feet of cable). • Perform cable installation for approximately 586 feet of new runs. • Terminate and test 479 cable endpoints. • Ensure all terminations meet industry standards for quality and performance. • Work with team members to meet project deadlines and maintain safety standards. • Document installation work and provide updates to project supervisors. ⸻ Qualifications: • Previous experience as a Cable Technician or Installer (Cat6 and structured cabling). • Knowledge of cable pulling, termination, and testing methods. • Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment safely. • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. • Able to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces if required. • Excellent communication and teamwork skills. ⸻ Contract Details: • Pay Rate: $23.00 – $26.00 per hour (DOE). • Schedule: 40 hours per week (overtime after 40 hours). • Shift: Overnight, 7:00 PM – 6:00 AM. • Duration: 9-month contract role. • Project Size: 286,000 feet of cable; 586 feet of installation; 479 termination points. • Start Date: 9/8/25 Beginning December, transitioning to a 24x7 facility. ⸻ Work Environment: • Large-scale convention center environment. • Overnight shifts with exposure to varying conditions indoors and on-site. • Collaborative team-based project with strict timelines.
