Job Summary The Senior Technical Specialist will be responsible for leveraging expertise in IBM Infosphere DataStage Suite, SQL, Oracle PL/SQL, and Unix Shell Scripting to design, develop, implement, and maintain data integration solutions. The role involves working with cross functional teams to ensure efficient and effective data processing. (1.) Key Responsibilities 1. Design, develop, and implement data integration solutions using ibm infosphere datastage suite. 2. Write and optimize complex sql queries for data retrieval and manipulation. 3. Develop and maintain oracle pl/sql procedures, functions, and packages for data processing. 4. Create and maintain unix shell scripts for automation and scheduling of data workflows. 5. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide technical recommendations for data integration projects. 6. Perform troubleshooting, debugging, and performance tuning of data integration jobs. 7. Ensure data quality, integrity, and security in all data processing activities. Skill Requirements 1. Proficiency in ibm infosphere datastage suite for etl processes. 2. Strong command over sql for querying and managing relational databases. 3. Experience in developing and optimizing oracle pl/sql procedures. 4. Knowledge of unix shell scripting for automating data workflows. 5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. 6. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to work effectively in a team. 7. Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently. 8. Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work. 9. Strong experience in using azure devops for build and deploy 10. Responsibilities and Duties OCT currently has an opening for a Technical Writer - FISMA/HVA Support to work with our federal client.  The Technical Writer will ensure all reports, work products, and deliverables submitted to DOT are in accordance with approved DOT style writing guides and suitable for both technical and non-technical senior management audiences. This position is contingent upon contract award.
