O2B Kids is a part of O2B Early Education which began in Gainesville, FL in 1998 and has grown widely in Florida, Georgia, Missouri, Alabama and Minnesota, with MANY locations on the horizon, including several locations in new states. We are preparing to open two brand NEW locations in Minnesota in the early new year. We would love to begin interviewing for these locations in Sartell and Otsego, in preparation for an onsite hiring event in early November. Please note, though we would like to begin hiring immediately, we won't begin to start training until late December or early January. Responsibilities: - Facilitating day camps, in-person workshops, and after-school science enrichment programs for children from preschool through elementary school - Deliver high-energy, part entertainment, part education, hands-on programs that meet for one hour each week for approximately 8-10 weeks. - Drive to various locations across Los Angeles and Ventura Counties. - Enjoy teaching young children the art of science! - Attend paid training sessions virtually or at our office. - Attend the mandatory Friday Staff Meeting every week (paid). - Be able to lift and carry up to 25 lbs. - Be on time for all scheduled activities. - Adhere to strict safety and cleanliness guidelines. Qualifications: - Must be available a MINIUMUM of three consistent weekday afternoons, 12-5pm. While this is a part-time position, it is critical that you are able to commit to the length of any given program (school season, camp session, after-school program, etc.), and that you are able to give us steady weekly availability. - Must have a personal vehicle as you will be transporting equipment and conducting programs across Los Angeles and Ventura Counties. - Must be available for mandatory Friday meeting, 11am-12pm - Some experience teaching/ working with groups of elementary-age (4-12) children (such as an after-school teacher or camp counselor). - Minimum of 1 year of college suggested.
