Position Overview: Staff4Me is seeking an experienced and highly qualified Senior Tax Manager to lead our tax department and drive strategic tax initiatives. The Senior Tax Manager will play a vital role in overseeing tax compliance, planning, and advisory services, ensuring that the organization adheres to tax regulations while optimizing tax liabilities. Key Responsibilities: Manage all aspects of tax compliance and reporting, ensuring timely and accurate filing of tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, and trusts. Develop and implement tax strategies to minimize the organization’s tax liabilities and enhance client financial positions. Conduct detailed tax research and analysis, interpreting tax laws and regulations to provide sound tax advice to clients and management. Oversee tax audits, interacting with tax authorities and preparing necessary documentation. Train, mentor, and provide leadership to junior staff, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment. Stay current on changes in tax legislation and assess the impact on clients and the organization. Prepare and present tax-related reports and documentation to management and stakeholders. Collaborate with financial teams to ensure proper integration of tax strategies into overall business operations. Requirements Key Qualifications and Skills: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; Master’s degree in Taxation or equivalent is preferred. CPA certification is required. 8+ years of progressive experience in tax accounting and compliance, with a focus on leadership roles. Comprehensive knowledge of federal, state, and international tax laws and regulations. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong leadership and team management capabilities. Proficiency with tax software and accounting tools (experience with CCH Axcess is a plus). Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple priorities.

We are a lean group, which means you will have primary responsibility for corporate income tax, including research. You will be the subject matter expert for the company on income tax, providing advice on planning and income tax strategy!
