This individual will lead the planning and execution of meaningful student and alumni events, community engagement initiatives, and the development of student clubs and organizations. Essential Functions: Plan, schedule, promote, and attend monthly, quarterly, and annual: Community service events Alumni networking and continuing education events Student organization activities • Coordinate with university and program leadership to schedule and reserve facilities • Manage event logistics including registration, setup, communication, and post-event evaluation • Develop programs to foster engagement through wellness, career development, social activities, and lifelong learning • Maintain regular communication with alumni and student organizations • Partner with internal departments to drive alumni involvement • Build and maintain relationships with local nonprofits and community partners • Proactively identify new community opportunities aligned with the university’s mission • Support the formation and growth of student clubs and organizations • Manage relationships with club leaders and student committees • Maintain calendars, documentation, and communication records for all related programming • Create and distribute post-event surveys to evaluate success and gather feedback • Analyze results and make recommendations for improvement Qualifications: • Bachelor’s Degree required • Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail • Strong written and verbal communication skills • High energy, collaborative mindset, and team-oriented attitude • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite • Experience in event coordination, nonprofit or volunteer management, or higher education preferred • $25.00 – $26.00 per hour. THE POSITION: *This could be one Full-Time Position or a few Part-Time Positions, depending on the applicants. DANCE FACULTY (COMPANY & REC) This position in particular focuses on teaching within our Recreational Programs, BAYPAC Intensive Training Program and our BAYPAC Dance Company - specifically in the genre of Hip Hop. BAYPAC offers curriculum-based training in a wide variety of dance styles in order to build and well-rounded, technically proficient, creative, open, articulate, expressive and collaborative dancers and artists. Ideal candidates have experience in the following areas (1) hip hop instruction in a studio environment as well as to company/crew dancers who are dancing on a competitive level (2) hip hop instruction to recreational dancers, ranging from age 4.5 up through high school (you can have experience across one or multiple age levels) Candidates should be well-versed and enjoy teaching beginning dancers ages 4.5 & up all the way up to our pre-professional dancers heading off to college. **For our company role, the candidate can also simply be focused on high level instruction beginning around age 7 and continuing through high school.** Candidates should also be well-versed in creating appropriate, thoughtful and dynamic choreography as well as the ability to clean not only their pieces, but others as well. The position will be likely 12 - 20 hours of teaching per week supplemented with administrative duties including but not limited to faculty/staff meetings, email responses, planning meetings, clerical work and collaborations with other faculty. Those who are taking this on even more part-time could also have a teaching load of 4-5 hours per day/week if that is the role that fits best.
