Same Day Water Heaters is a full-service plumbing company located in Houston. We are looking to add a full time Tankless Water Heater salesperson to our team to meet growing customer demand. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing residential customer needs, providing timely and accurate quotes, and working closely with the General Manager. Knowledge of general plumbing and tankless water heaters is required. We work exclusively with a big box client that agrees with us; COVID has changed the way our customers shop and the way we work as we follow CDC guidelines with respect to keeping our customers and our team safe and healthy. The successful candidate will be instrumental in utilizing virtual, and in-person sales appointments with prospective customers at their convenience. (Typically, Monday-Friday 8am-5pm with some evening hours and rotating Saturdays as needed to meet customer need.) Responsibilities: Lead generation Trade show presence – big box locations Understand and implement the sales process Own every aspect of the sales process Create and execute strategies for increasing close rate Prepare and review results and monthly plans with leadership Remain up to date on products, advancements, and market trends Requirements Knowledge of general plumbing and tankless water heaters (3 yrs. experience preferred) Quality customer service skills and proven sales record Outgoing personality with expertise at developing relationships (i.e., a “people person”) Persuasive and able to overcome objections during the sales process Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills Successfully pass required background check Professional attire & high school diploma or equivalent Benefits Full-time with Paid Time Off & Holidays Competitive Bi-Weekly Draw Against Commission Commission and incentives based on meeting/exceeding sales and close rate goals Results focused, performance culture
