Room for rent with private bathroom to a quiet and respectful single male in a large, safe and secure, 4-bedroom house in Lakewood. You would have your own bathroom, as I have my own, and the other 2 roommates share one on the other side of the house. The home is very safe and secure, and is in a great area off of Gravelly Lake Drive. The home is only a mile from American Lake Park (beach and boat launch access). The house is very private and hidden from the road. Located roughly a half-mile past the Tacoma Golf and Country Club off the Gravelly Lake Drive Exit on I-5 (excellent, upscale, quiet and safe area). Very close to both 1-5 and Hwy 512. Parking is available in the driveway, but there is also a bus stop only a few hundred yards up the road if you use public transportation. Images are of the room that’s available and the bathroom you would use, and the rest are of the common areas of the home and property. They show the room both furnished and non-furnished. The room’s carpet has just been thoroughly cleaned and shampooed. The walls have also been washed, and the entire room has been steam cleaned as well. The room that is available is right next to mine, so I’m looking for someone who is very quiet as I am enrolled in a master’s program online, and I study a lot and am looking for a roommate that respects that. No loud TV watching or blasting music as the wall between ours is pretty thin. I’m very quiet, and I expect you to be as well. Rent includes SINGLE occupancy usage of the bedroom (no overnight guests, sorry. We’ve just had too many issues in the past), plus all common areas of the house (kitchen, living/dining room, w/d usage, etc.). The room is currently furnished with a queen-sized bed and Posturepedic mattress, 2 dressers, a desk, and a TV, but you are welcome to bring and use your own furnishings. Washer and dryer in home are available to use anytime. You will be expected to be clean and pick up after yourself and help clean common areas of the house. Absolutely zero tolerance with drama or fighting with other roommates. Current tenants are 45, 63, and 27. There is also a very friendly 6-year-old Belgian Malinois dog that lives here as well, so you would need to be ok with that. Sorry, no other pets. The dog gets along great with people once he's met them, but he doesn't get along well with other animals that are infringing on his territory. Month-to-month rental agreement. Rent is $850 per month (ALL utilities + cable / Wi-Fi included, HBO Max, Netflix, Paramount +, Showtime, Hulu, Apple TV, Prime Video, etc.) There is a house BBQ on the covered front porch available to use as well. Rent is due on the 1st of each month. There is $100 refundable deposit, provided that you leave the room in the same condition you found it, and don’t damage anything in the rest of the house or property. Background check is required before moving in, which includes a $25 non-refundable background check fee. We can work with most offenses or past problems; the main thing is to just be upfront and honest with us. We understand that people make mistakes in life.
