Essential Skills A critical skill to ensure that every task is completed according to specifications.  Ability to identify the root causes of issues and develop effective solutions.  Strong verbal and written communication to clearly report findings and collaborate with team members.  Understanding of quality assurance methodologies, testing strategies, and quality management tools.  Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative team.  Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines.  Ability to work in a fast pace environment. Ability to adjust to a changing environment Education and Qualifications  Bachelor Degree with a degree in business management, computer science, engineering (mechanical, industrial, production), or a related technical field. Prior experience in quality assurance or a related role is highly preferred. Professional certifications like Six Sigma, Quality Engineer, or Quality Auditor can be a strong asset. Have experience in ISO certification is highly desirable. Experience in life science machinery manufacturing is highly preferred. Our client needs a Senior Radiographer, Level II.  They manufacture components for the military and aerospace and are in the process of moving to digital radiography.  As a member of the quality department, you will help them create and test critical components for their customer base.  You will help to grow their NADCAP NDT capabilities (Film and Digital radiography, fluorescent penetrant inspection) to meet the increasing demand for advanced components. This is an excellent, well-established company that is on an aggressive growth curve. Must be a U.S. Citizen due to military contracts. What you will be doing: Perform radiographic operations including selection of appropriate techniques, positioning of materials, exposure of film, developing techniques, etc. to identify and assess defects in components and repair welds. Perform all darkroom procedures to develop film and/or process digital radiographic images. Interpretation of results to determine whether parts pass or fail inspection based on knowledge of codes, standards, and customer specifications. Prepare necessary documentation and certification. Review new customer orders to help determine proper processing through X-Ray operations. Assist in maintaining the radiographic inspection area, inspection room and radiographic equipment as needed. Maintaining accurate records of inspections and process logs as required by the method Participate in Nadcap accreditation activity Desire to increase technical and leadership skills in the field of Non-Destructive testing (NDT). Requirements What they are looking for: Post-High School education in NDT or a technical field preferred. Certification to Radiographic Testing Level II (RT Level II) is required Manufacturing or component level work, not pipelines Experience with SNT-TC-1A, NAS-410 or MIL-STD-271 for NDT are highly desired. Experience with DDA (digital X-ray) protocols or DDA Level 2 certification desirable. Able to work independently and follow written and verbal instructions. Strong work ethic, high attention to detail, and team player. Desire to increase technical and leadership skills in the NDT field. Good communication and computer skills. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Responsible for on-time and accurate shipping and delivery, ensuring that all items on Sales Orders are packaged and staged for order fulfillment. Record received inventory into the MRP system by ensuring items that are received match the Purchase Order and Packing Slip documentation. Loading and unloading trucks, wrapping products, packing, labeling, as well as operating a forklift when necessary. Responsible for product quality: reporting non-compliant parts and product to the appropriate managers. Pick parts to request and transact all inventory movements in ERP. Coordinate inventory workflows, maintain work order records, and perform cycle counts. Follow standard operating procedures and current quality specifications by having Working knowledge of standards and regulations as outlined in the QMS documentation and structure Operate within standard operating procedures and abide by all safety and security rules set forth by the company and regulatory agencies. Active participant in continuous improvement projects pertaining to but not limited to the Shipping and Receiving areas. Utilize IT tools provided to ensure work is organized to prevent errors and omissions as well as efficient execution of duties Communicate professionally (written and oral); adhere to company policies and employee handbook. Maintain clean, hazard-free work area and regular attendance Perform all other duties assigned.
