We are looking for a part-time cook to prepare dinner each weeknight for an adult and two middle-school-age children, ten and twelve, and to do some child care. We have a cottage -- a small inlaw -- on the property of our house in the Berkeley Hills that can be rented for a small sum. The cooking would be ten to fifteen hours a week, including clean up and some very light housework. Child care could add up to more hours, if desired. The cottage is small but surrounded by redwoods and very lovely. It is about fifty yards from the main house. This job would be ideal for a graduate student or artist or writer who would like to support a burgeoning career with a part time job and modest housing.
