Delivery Driver - Medical Equipment Service Specialist (DME) Make a Meaningful Impact in Your Community! Are you looking for more than just a delivery job? Bellevue Healthcare is seeking a dedicated Delivery Driver - Medical Equipment Service Specialist who values compassion, integrity, and the opportunity to make a difference in the communities we live in. This role goes beyond deliveries—it’s about providing comfort, dignity, and support to those in need. What You’ll Do: -Safely operate a company vehicle to deliver and set up essential (or durable) medical equipment in patients’ homes and/or care facilities. -Engage directly with patients and caregivers, ensuring equipment is correctly set up and fully operational. -Lift and move up to 80 lbs. repeatedly throughout the day, demonstrating reliability and care with each setup. -Provide compassionate, patient-focused service, respecting the unique needs of each individual. -Disinfect and clean medical equipment to be adequate for patient usage -Provide minor repairs as needed to medical equipment -Maintain stock levels by keeping shelves full of functional equipment Requirements: -Valid driver’s license with a minimum of three years of active driving experience. -A compassionate, trustworthy professional with a true desire to serve vulnerable populations. -Strong organizational skills to manage schedules and deliver timely service. -Excellent communication skills for clear documentation and updates -Physical ability to lift up to 80 lbs. and perform hands-on work. -Tobacco/Nicotine free. -Must be able to successfully pass a drug screen, including cannabis, upon hire. -Age requirement: minimum 21 Benefits Include: -We Promote from Within -Company Paid Health Insurance -Company Match Retirement Plan -Holiday Pay -Generous PTO -GROWTH!!! Essential Duties & Responsibilities include but are not limited to: • Reads and efficiently works from routing manifest to delivering products to customers using truck, forklift, pallet jack and/or hand truck. • Accurately records invoices, credits, or other instructional information on the truck route manifest, complying with any special instructions for proper and efficient delivery. • Safely and efficiently delivers product to the customer per instructions on the manifest. • Collects money from customers, makes the change, and records transactions on customer receipt. • Maintains accurate records of the route, follows check-in procedures, verifying accurate payment for invoices and checks in any returned product. • Assist customers during delivery as needed. • Follow correct procedures to document customer receipt of product, omission, or error; collect payment as appropriate. • Listen to service complaints. • Place stock on shelves or racks. • Collects or picks up empty containers, rejects, or unsold merchandise. • Issues or obtains customer signature on receipt for pickup or delivery. • Perform pre-trip/post-trip inspection of the assigned vehicle and complete pre-trip/post-trip report; distribute as directed. • Suggest implementations for the warehouse and company to improve profits, improve quality, and improve service. Job Requirements • CDL class A or B • Current documentation of DOT medical certification • Must be 21 years of age. • Clean driving record, no SR22 insurance. • Copies of your CDL and DMV record required prior to starting. • Excellent communication, both written and verbal. • Beverage delivery experience preferred. • Good customer relations skills Physical Demands • The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
