JOB SUMMARY This position operates machine tools such as lathes, milling machines, secondary equipment, and grinders, to machine metallic and nonmetallic workpieces by performing a variety of duties.   ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Machine setup, operation, and startup, restarting the machine, adjusts tooling to maintain proper sizes, replaces broken or worn tooling. Currently seeking full time driver: I’m an independent contractor for FedEx Ground Linehaul and currently have an open position for Anchorage/Valdez run. Summer Schedule. Sunday night through Thursday night. Dispatching from Anchorage to Valdez is 11:30-11:45 PM. Dispatching from Valdez back to Anchorage is 6:15-6:45AM. Winter schedule: Starting in September dispatch time from Anchorage is 7:45 PM arriving at Valdez FedEx station around 1:30AM unload 2 to 4 pallets of packages then pick up returning packages and head back to Anchorage FedEx station arriving usually by 8:00 AM. Sunday- Thursday nights. So Friday morning-Sunday evening off. We’re pulling 33’ trailer with liftgate and usually have anywhere 2-4 pallets of packages to deliver to Valdez and picking up usually 1 pallet. Qualifications are as follows: Must be at least 21 years old. Collect and analyze samples for environmental monitoring such as USP Purified water, soft water, air and equipment.
