The base salary range for this full-time position is $130,000 to $200,000 + equity + benefits. P/T Assistant Manager needed to work at our Self Storage facility in Santa Cruz, CA. Applicant will work on Saturday and Sunday plus misc fill in days as needed to cover both the manager's vacation and sick days. Key Responsibilities Manage a caseload of workers’ compensation matters from intake through resolution. Navigate EAMS (Electronic Adjudication Management System) effectively for filing, calendaring, and case monitoring. Draft correspondence, including persuasive letters to defendants and insurance carriers. Request and track QME panels; manage the medical-legal evaluation process. Identify and analyze complex case issues, including medical treatment disputes, temporary disability, and permanent disability exposure. Prepare hearing binders and assist attorneys with case preparation, including MSCs and trials. Communicate with clients to explain case status, medical treatment, and benefit issues. Maintain deadlines, ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory timelines, and flag issues requiring attorney review. Qualifications Required: Minimum 3–5 years of experience in California workers’ compensation case management or as a hearing representative. Strong understanding of California Labor Code, Title 8 CCR regulations, and WCAB procedures. Proficiency with EAMS and experience handling QME/AME disputes. MUST speak and write Spanish Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while managing multiple priorities. Strong organizational and problem-solving skills. Team player with a client-focused approach. Compensation & Work Environment Pay range: $25 – $32 per hour depending on experience.
