RMC is hiring for a Junior Inventory Management Specialist to support our customer onsite at NSWC Indian Head, MD.   The selected candidate will be expected to: Perform a wide range of substantive clerical/technical support work. Perform inventory accounting and control records entry and review, demand processing, requisition and re-supply, receipt and release of property, shipments, and management information recoverability. Perform periodic inventories of plant property, materials, and equipment. Gather information to support inventory records, discrepancies, and assist with corrective actions. Process disposal documentation as required, and post status record changes to maintain control of equipment dispositions. Process material receipts; enter data in the inventory control system; enter receiving and shipping documentation; and notify management of discrepancies with maximum supervision. Follow technical written procedures issued by the Federal Government for requisitioning, receiving, and storing supplies, repair parts, and equipment. Requirements A High School Diploma and (2-3) years of general work experience is required. An active DoD Secret clearance is required to start. The applicant selected may be subject to a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite. Must be able to follow technical written procedures issued by the Federal Government. Must maintain a valid state-issued driver's license and be able to drive and operate a vehicle (car, truck, van). The Tear Down Technician will play a crucial role in our transmission manufacturing process by disassembling transmissions, cleaning individual components, operating part washer machinery, and ensuring that cleaned parts are efficiently transferred for painting. Requirements Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Disassemble transmissions into individual components while maintaining the integrity of each part. Inspect parts for damage or wear and report findings to the supervisor. Clean transmission parts thoroughly using various cleaning tools and equipment. Remove contaminants such as oil, grease, and dirt to ensure parts are ready for the next stages of manufacturing. Operate automated part washer machinery to efficiently clean transmission components. Monitor and adjust machine settings as needed to achieve optimal cleaning results. Inspect cleaned parts for any remaining contaminants or imperfections. Ensure all parts meet quality standards before transferring them to be painted. Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a secure working environment.
