Position Title: Home Delivery Assistant (Newspaper Delivery) Status: Full-time (35+ hours weekly) Starting Compensation: $18.54/hr. + 62 1/2 cents per mile + $500 bonus after 90 days of employment Hours: Must be available Sunday - Friday, approximately 12 am - 8 am (35+ hours/week). Off 2 days Per Week, Saturday and either Monday, Tuesday or Thursday. About this role: This position serves to assist with newspaper delivery, complaints, and customer service supporting distribution centers and district managers. What you'll do: Deliver newspaper routes when contractors are unavailable using a personal vehicle. Prepare and submit weekly log of hours and mileage. Assist with the delivery of special products. Assist District Manager with customer and/or carrier calls as well as daily office tasks. Other duties as assigned. What you'll contribute to our team: Be at least 18 years of age. Have a valid driver's license, personal reliable vehicle, and proof of car insurance. Ability to read a street map/GPS. Problem-solving skills. Excellent customer service skills. Be willing to work in all weather conditions. Work without direct supervision. Be physically able to deliver newspapers to customers door.
