$20/hr + Overtime ** LOOKING FOR OVERNIGHT DRIVER ** ** TUESDAY AND THURSDAY OFF ** * MARYLAND AND PA DELIVERIES ** ** DRIVER'S ABSTRACT REQUIRED ( AT LEAST 5 YEARS ) ** ** AT LEAST 18 MONTHS OF EXPERIENCE REQUIRED ** ** REFERENCES STRONGLY PREFERRED ** *Home Daily – Steady Work All Year Round!! *High school diploma or equivalent with a general education emphasis * 3-6 AM Start Times (Morning Shift) depending on route *RETAIL STORE DELIVERIES *10'-26’ Straight Truck with Lift-Gate & Pallet/Hand Jack *At least 18 months of driving experience required (passenger tender/passenger vehicles/cars/vans do not qualify for experience) Responsible for the accurate, efficient, and professional delivery of products. *Ability to legally and physically drive delivery vehicles in order to deliver the product to the customer. * Present self in a professional, courteous and businesslike manner to customers. * Make sure that "charge" invoices are signed and one copy of the invoice is left with the customer *learn and follow Store invoice procedure. * Use caution when driving and choosing where to park a company vehicle before entering a shop. * Avoid any areas that may cause congestion or interfere with the shop or their customers' traffic flow. * Check all orders against invoices for accuracy. * Report any maintenance/mechanical problems with the company vehicle, to the supervisor. * Take precautionary safety measures for any leaking or damaged material immediately and notify the store manager as soon as possible; and know * Check company vehicle to be sure an adequate supply of sticks and strainers is on board each morning before the first delivery run. * Drive and operate vehicles in a safe manner. * Follow route sheets unless otherwise directed. * Organize route for efficient deliveries. * Know and follow safe work practices. * Know and follow COD collection procedures. * Know and follow refueling procedures and maintain adequate fuel levels in company vehicles * Wear seatbelts at all times. * Should be able to lift up to 50lbs *Should be able to operate pallet jack * Should be able to drive 16-26 foot trucks safely - ***Must Have Active Medical Certificate For Driving***
