Delivery Driver $19.50 to $22.50 per hr Amazon VAN (Sterling)

We are seeking a reliable Delivery Driver to join our team. This is a Delivery Associate position with Silkway Express . We are Delivery Service Partner (DSP), delivering packages for a national technology company(Amazon). The Delivery Driver will be responsible for transporting, and delivering packages from one place to another in a safe and timely manner. Successful delivery drivers enjoy being outdoor, on the road driving, they put safety first and care deeply about customer expectations and satisfaction. *Make up to $1365 weekly working 6 days per week ( 40 hrs +20 hrs overtime)* Responsibilities: - Safely operate various types of delivery vehicles such as cargo VAN - Load and unload cargo following specific handling procedures - Keep pace in physically demanding job; work in all weather conditions; lift packages (up to 50 lbs.); get in and out of a van repeatedly throughout the day at variable locations - Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any delays - Adhere to all traffic laws and maintain a clean driving record - Perform regular vehicle inspections and maintenance checks -Use smart phone device for GPS Navigation, scanning packages, conducting administrative requirements such as clocking in/out, and to communicate with supervisors and other team members Delivery is a physically demanding job. Here is what you can expect in a standard shift: - 600 lbs of packages hand loaded and delivered over 100-190 stops - 5-40 flights of stairs throughout apartment complexes, or commercial buildings navigated -8-12 miles of walking including load out activities and delivering throughout the day Qualifications: Must be at least 21 years old · Must have valid state driver’s license · Authorized to work in the United States · Must pass Drug Screening · Must have a clean motor vehicle report (multiple violations can disqualify you from the position) · Must have good English speaking, reading, writing / communication skills Benefits & Pay: $19.50 per hr starting pay $5250 Tuition Assistance after 90 days of employment Biweekly pay Overtime opportunities.
