Receiving Associate

As a Receiving Associate, you will be integral to our operations and responsible for receiving, inspecting, and documenting incoming shipments of medical devices and components. Your attention to detail and ability to ensure compliance with quality standards will directly contribute to our operational efficiency and overall commitment to excellence.
Responsibilities
Receive and unpack incoming shipments, ensuring the accuracy of orders against invoices and packing slips
Inspect received items for quality and damage, reporting any discrepancies to the inventory management team
Document and enter received products into the inventory management system
Collaborate with staff to organize and store received items appropriately
Process purchase orders by counting items and physically receiving quantities in NetSuite
Provide accounts payable with receipts of processed payments
Assist in maintaining an organized and safe receiving area
Coordinate with suppliers and shipping personnel to resolve any issues related to shipments
Assist with inventory counts and audits as needed
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives within the receiving department
Adhere to safety and compliance protocols at all times
Assist Shipping and Inventory as needed
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent, but not required
0-3+ years of experience in a receiving or warehouse role, preferably in the medical device or manufacturing industry
Basic understanding of inventory management systems
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, is a plus
Good computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Office
Effective communication and teamwork abilities
Physical capability to lift, move, and carry items up to 10 pounds regularly, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
Must be able to frequently stand, walk and reach with hands and arms, occasionally stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus
Strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn
Pay Rate: $22.00 per hour
