Tamco Trucking, Inc. is seeking a reliable and hard-working driver to join our team in the Midwest! Job Description: We pickup recycling at shippers, then deliver to the paper mills and ship out rolls from the mills to converters, this job requires someone dependable, punctual, and ready to work as part of a team. This lane is between Henderson. KY, to St. Louis. (area), Cedar Rapids, Chicago, St Joseph, MO. The average miles are between 2500 and 3000 per week. 50% drop and hook, 50% live unload. Out 1-2 weeks at a time. Duties Include: 1. Transportation: - Pickup and deliver loads safely and on time. - Follow scheduled routes or adjust based on instructions and traffic conditions. 2. Vehicle Maintenance: - Preform dot inspections daily (oil, tire pressure, brakes, lights, etc.). - Report issues and schedule maintenance as needed to keep the truck in working order. 3. Loading and Unloading: - Drop/Hook trailers. - Securely load and unload cargo to prevent damage. 4. Documentation: - Maintain accurate records (elogs, mileage, fuel, customer signatures). - Ensure proper documentation for all deliveries of transportation activities. 5. Customer Service: - Communicate with clients, customers, in a professional and courteous manner. - Handle complaints or issues when they arise and report back to management if needed. 6. Compliance: - Follow traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company policies. - Maintain a valid driver's license and medical card and any necessary endorsements. 7. Safety: - Maintaining a clean and safe work environment. - Stay aware of surroundings to prevent accidents or theft.
