Pay Earn activity-based pay at $0.65 per mile, $12.81 per drop and hook, $7.96 for fueling, and $31.74 per hour of detention pay. Drivers average $85,000 per year and $1,700 per week. This operation is currently offering a $5,000 sign-on bonus! Schedule Be home daily with a five-day workweek, receiving time off on Tuesdays and Saturdays. Drivers might be required to cover a potential layover only 1 night out during the week. Drivers will serve as a floater to cover vacations and extra loads. Normally, shifts start between 12-2 p.m., lasting between 10-12 hours. When covering for vacations, we're looking for drivers flexible with filling in on our 6 a.m. and 6 p.m. shifts. The OTR driver will be responsible for transporting goods across long distances, ensuring timely deliveries, maintaining compliance with all DOT regulations, and representing the company with professionalism on the road and at customer locations. Key Responsibilities Safely operate tractor-trailers to transport freight across regional and national routes. Deliver loads on time while following company schedules and customer requirements. Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections of vehicles and cargo. Comply with all DOT, FMCSA, and state regulations. Maintain accurate driver logs, electronic logging device (ELD) entries, and trip records. Secure loads properly to prevent shifting or damage in transit.
