As a Welder/Fabricator at Everett Engineering, your primary responsibility will be to fabricate, assemble, and weld various metal components and structures according to engineering drawings and specifications. This position requires a strong attention to detail, manual dexterity, and the ability to work in a fast-paced production environment. Responsibilities Fabricate and weld metal components and structures following engineering drawings and specifications. Operate welding equipment, such as MIG, TIG, and stick welders, safely and efficiently. Use hand and power tools to cut, shape, and weld metal parts. Inspect completed welds for quality and accuracy, making any necessary repairs or adjustments. Test and evaluate welded components to ensure they meet specified tolerances and requirements.   This position will reconcile subcontractor/vendor invoices that do not match budgeted purchase orders and will maintain monthly statements of outstanding invoices with subcontractors/vendors. This individual will work closely with Purchasing Agents, Project Managers, Accounts Payable personnel, Estimators, Subcontractors/Vendors, and other departments as needed. This individual will also participate in department-wide projects and provide general support as needed. Perform miscellaneous Purchasing Department activities such as analyzing, pricing, and researching various projects as well as miscellaneous backup functions (i.e., bid input, phone backup, etc.).
