This position will assist with the day-to-day dispatching of local, regional, and over-the-road CDL drivers. The Dispatcher works closely with customers, drivers, and department peers to coordinate and ensure load commitments are being fulfilled, driver utilization is maintained, driver retention is a priority, and guarantee that company productivity goals are met. It is imperative that professional communication and follow-up is upheld daily, as it is crucial to the success of this role.   Basic Job Description: Create schedules, dispatch out CDL Class A drivers locally, regionally, and over the road drivers to appropriate locations with routing information, provide drivers with essential details to complete their route, etc. Create spreadsheets and reports as needed. Professional communication with drivers, vendors, customers, and management. Process driver assistance and operation team requests with timely follow through. Utilize TMW for the entry and dispatch load information. Utilize PeopleNet to track and monitor drivers. Maintain a positive team environment. Responsibilities: Budgeting & Financial Management Partner with Producers to create, manage, and track detailed production budgets. Monitor expenditures, maintain organized documentation of all receipts and invoices. Prepare and present clear, comprehensive cost reports after production. Identify opportunities to consolidate and share resources across projects to optimize costs. Logistics & Pre-Production Coordination Scout, negotiate, and secure filming locations. Onboard, prepare, and support production teams during setup. Coordinate shared resources (locations, catering, equipment rentals, etc.) across projects. Successfully manage and prioritize multiple projects running concurrently. Vendor, Cast & Crew Coordination Serve as the primary point of contact for vendors, cast, and crew during pre-production. Work closely with Producers to arrange schedules, equipment, and staffing. Negotiate bundled deals with vendors across multiple projects to maximize efficiency. Production Oversight & Handover Ensure smooth and well-documented handover to the on-set production team (LP, UPM, PAs). Provide clear instructions and guidance to on-set teams. Remain available to handle emergencies or production challenges remotely. Wrap & Post-Production Oversee wrap procedures and ensure all deliverables are completed accurately. Manage and support the UPM, Production Designer, and Costume teams in finalizing cost reports. Ensure all reporting aligns with accounting standards and producer requirements. Requirements Proven experience as a Line Producer or Supervising Line Producer in film, television, or digital media productions, preferably in vertical shorts. Strong background in production budgeting, cost tracking, and financial reporting. Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Excellent negotiation skills and experience in securing favorable vendor and location deals. Strong communication and leadership skills to collaborate with producers, vendors, cast, and crew. Ability to remain calm under pressure and resolve problems efficiently. Familiarity with wrap and post-production financial requirements. Preferred Skills Experience with union and non-union productions. Familiarity with production accounting software and reporting tools. Knowledge of industry-standard budgeting practices and cost-saving strategies. Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic production environment. Benefits This is a project-based contract position, with compensation ranging from USD 4,000 to 4,500 per project. A Machine Operator ensures that the final product complies with the company's quality standards which includes the reliability, usability and performance of the product. In general, these detail-oriented professionals are responsible for using tools to perform hourly checks to ensure quality standards are met and the equipment is running properly. KEY RESPONSIBILITES: Safety: maintain a safe work environment through training, adherence to policies and housekeeping. Carry out production, inspection, packaging and machine operation duties Effectively monitor production equipment Make adjustments to machinery when necessary to improve performance and quality Troubleshoot issues and perform routine maintenance on equipment Perform quality control checks, follow reporting and recordkeeping procedures, and report problems to supervisor Minimum 18 years of age. Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements Education & Certificates · High school education, or equivalency is desired.
