Position Summary: That Pizza Place is an iconic restaurant that has been serving Carlsbad and the North County community for over 47 years. We are searching for a high energy, outgoing and an experienced leader for the position of Kitchen Manager. The position is responsible for supervising and assisting the kitchen staff, as well as keeping the kitchen clean, healthy, and safe per local and state regulations. Reports To: General Manager Position Qualifications: 1. At least 3 years of kitchen experience (prefer some pizza experience) 2. At least 2 years of experience in a leadership or management role 3. Reliable transportation 4. Food Handlers Card 5. Completed or in the process of completing ServSafe (will be required to obtain ServSafe Food Manager Certification if hired) 6. Good leadership and interpersonal communication skills. Key Responsibilities: 1. Ensure that all food products are ordered according to predetermined quantities. 2. Oversee kitchen inventory, safety, and other standard regulations. 3. Supervise, train and assist kitchen staff to produce quality food up to TPP standards. Other responsibilities: 1. Keeps workstation and equipment clean, organized, sanitized, and stocked 2. Perform opening, closing, and side work duties as instructed and according to proper TPP guidelines 3.
