Quality Assurance Specialist II (3646)

IPConfigure is seeking a talented WA Intern to join our team and assist in the development of our Video Management System.  NOTE: This is an on-site internship at our Norfolk, VA headquarters. Key responsibilities: Develop and execute test cases, and test scripts to ensure the quality and reliability of our software products. Conduct thorough regression testing when across various platforms, including Linux environments. Monitor debugging process results. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize testing requirements, and communicate test results effectively. Configure and maintain Linux-based testing environments, including virtual machines and containerized environments. Document test procedures, test results, and other relevant information to support quality assurance efforts. Stay updated on industry best practices, tools, and technologies related to software testing and quality assurance. Requirements Requirements: Pursuing Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Understanding of software testing principles and methodologies, including manual testing techniques and test case design. Ability to execute test cases, report defects, and assist in regression testing activities under the guidance of senior team members. Eagerness to learn and apply testing best practices, including test planning, test execution, and defect management. Basic understanding of Linux operating system fundamentals. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail. Strong analytical skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Willingness to collaborate with team members and stakeholders to achieve project objectives and deliver high-quality software products. Demonstrated ability to adapt to new technologies, tools, and methodologies quickly and effectively. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in software testing and quality assurance roles or Internship or academic projects related to software testing, quality assurance, or software development. Familiarity with automation testing tools (e.g., Selenium, Jenkins). Familiarity with version control systems such as Git and collaborative development workflows Exposure to agile software development methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban) and agile testing practices. Basic proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Java, or JavaScript), with the ability to write simple scripts or programs. The assigned evenings to work are flexible; most of our Night Managers work Sunday - Thursday evenings. The assigned work hours are flexible, somewhere between 5:00 pm – 2:00 am. Many of our Night Managers work 8:00 pm - 1:00 am.

We are looking for CDL drivers with 1+ years of experience for the 2025 Pistachio season in the Central Valley. We expect a 2 month season with day and night shifts available. Drivers will haul loads from a processing facility to local dairies and compost yards. All loads are loaded by shuttle operators and drivers are responsible for taking pre-loaded trailers from the processing plant to their delivery locations as loads are available. This is a fast paced work environment with plenty of loads to make. Drivers can expect to make $1,500/week and as much as $2,500/week depending on load volume. We offer an end of season bonus of 10% of all earnings made on all seasonal loads hauled.
