Systems Automation MC Department- Traffic (dublin / pleasanton / livermore)

Responsible for live broadcast and web programming as well as producing a daily TV Broadcast log. Ability to quickly learn software used and experience at an advertising agency, TV or radio station preferred. This position requires someone that can learn quickly and think on their feet in a fast paced environment. SUMMARY OF POSITION: Work with several automation software applications operating in the PC platform and web domain for broadcasting and webcasting live and repeated events on various platforms. Duties include scheduling, formatting, working with program grids and a digital library. Must be able to communicate with various departments and clients in a professional manner. Other duties as determined by the Executive Director. DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE: *Excellent computer skills (must be proficient in using Microsoft Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint); adept at maintaining databases and documents. *TV broadcast traffic and/or agency experience *Strict attention to details and accuracy *Ability to meet and work in tight deadlines *Be self-motivated, creative, with the ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment *Ability to execute tasks with high degree of accuracy under tight time constraints and highly organized with great attention to detail *Work well as a team, independently and other departments *College Degree in related field preferred, but not necessary *Must possess exceptional written and verbal English communication skills *Must have legal authorization to work in the United States *Must be willing to work overtime or on short notice if needed *Must be 18 years or older *May periodically be required to lift (up to 50lbs) *Must be able to sit for long periods of time *Must possess a valid CA Driver's License with good driving record *Must have reliable transportation *Must have phone skills *Other duties as determined by the Executive Director OTHER SPECIFICS: Part-time two days, 8-16 hours per week to start. May increase to more days/hours in future. Occasional additional hours to cover absences. Work week includes weekday and evening shifts, days and times to be determined.
