Suspended In Cobwebs is an American band from Los Angeles, CA that was founded in 2022 by singer/songwriter/producer Evan Whitford. Following the short lived high school project Psychoward, Suspended In Cobwebs immediately proved to be more experimental yet exhilarating. Their first EP Pig Debris was released independently on October 4th, 2024, receiving notable comparisons to Mr. Bungle, My Chemical Romance, and At The Drive-In.The release had some notable collaborations with various artists like avant-garde saxophonist Ulrich Krieger, Kiss Hello's Evan Pincus, and Iris/Diabology's Vikram Sinha. The release was mastered by Alan Douches (Converge, The Dillinger Escape Plan, Pierce The Veil), who also praised the songwriting for its twists and turns. The release has garnered 10,000+ all time streams within a few months of availability. The current lineup is Evan Whitford on Vocals/Guitar and Josh Columbus on Drums. Suspended In Cobwebs is currently working on a debut album, which is being produced without financial support from a label. As of August 11th, 2025, they concluded in the Top 10 in the 2025 America’s Top Hitmaker competition. The now duo is looking to fill out the space in their sound. We are looking for a bassist, second guitarist, keyboardist, saxophonist, and auxiliary percussionist. Must be flexible and available to learn the music, practice, perform, gig. We practice in West Adams. Prefer, 21-35 age range.
