Pay Range: depending on experience Schedule: 10 hour shift 8 hour shift Monday to Friday Weekend availability Typical Duties: Report to jobsite on time and ready to work Perform daily work tasks in a safe and conscientious manner Utilize hand and power tools as needed to perform tasks Working on a crew to install commercial flat single ply roofing materials in the Peoria area Requirements Must have reliable transportation and be able to pass a drug screen Follow direction of the foreman Physically, workers must be able to: see well (either naturally or with correction) Climb and maintain balance on ladders and scaffolds Abilities to work at heights, at extreme temperatures, and to wear company's safety equipment are essential Benefits Union wage rate based on position This position is covered under a collective bargaining agreement and benefits are provided through the union

The Battery Test Technician will perform tasks in conditioning and testing Amprius Technologies’ proprietary silicon anode Li-Ion cells.  This is a temporary role with the opportunity to be converted to a regular employee.   Job Responsibilities Perform routine tests on Amprius batteries to evaluate performance, safety, and quality. Utilize tools/equipment such as pneumatic cutter, electric drill, degas machine, and formation machine. Perform PC Board Soldering per specifications and instructions. Load cells into test fixtures, set-up and execute electrical cell tests. Measure cells using mass scale, digital multi-meter, and caliper. Perform visual inspections to identify and evaluate potential defects. Identify and escalate failures or unexpected behaviors to the Engineering Team within defined response time. Monitor and maintain testing equipment and calibrate as needed. Participate in troubleshooting and identifying causes with Engineers and Technicians. Accurate documentation of the data. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives towards better efficiency and safety. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Follow safety guidelines for handling battery components.   Requirements Proficient in use of hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment. Comfortable performing manual tasks requiring precision and manual dexterity. Basic understanding of electrical connections and testing software. Proficient in troubleshooting and problem solving. Follow technical instructions for test procedures precisely and document results accurately. Motivated to new challenges and embrace learning new techniques and refining existing techniques. Autonomous, personable, positive and a good teammate. Organized, detail oriented, and clear written and verbal communication skills.       Education, Certifications, Experience High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required. Minimum 2 years of experience as an equipment operator or technician in one of the following industries: Semiconductor, solar, battery, electronics, or automotive. Basic computer skills. Physical Demands & Work Location: Fremont, CA: This is an on-site job. Reliable commute or planning to relocate before starting work is required. Be able to lift and/or move objects up to 25 pounds. May be required to stand, sit, squat, bend, kneel, twist, crawl, reach, lift, balance, push, and pull.
