We’re looking for a Producer to help bring our projects to life by connecting the right talent, managing workflows, and supporting teams across Creative, Account, Project Management, Design, and Legal. You’ll be involved throughout the creative process, helping shape ideas, coordinating resources, and ensuring projects run smoothly from start to finish. Day-to-day, you’ll manage projects of different scope sizes independently, support your cross-discipline teams, and guide junior team members when needed. The right person is organized, adaptable, and resourceful, with strong connections across creative disciplines like editing, animation, design, illustration, and more. You’re culturally tuned in, aware of trends in art, music, and film, and always looking for ways to elevate the craft in every project. Your goal is to combine creative thinking and practical project management to deliver high-quality, engaging work on time and on budget. *Applicants must be legally able to work in the USA. Bakery is a 2022, 2024 and 2025 AdAge Small Agency of the Year. Primary Responsibilities Project Oversight: Support the end-to-end production process, working alongside agency producers from concept through delivery. This includes coordinating a wide range of content—film, photography, digital media, experiential activations—as well as projects that involve apparel, hardware/software, retail spaces, CPG products, and other creative outputs. Documentation: Prepare clear and complete specifications for each project and ensure pre-production materials are thorough and accurate, serving as a reliable roadmap for everyone involved. Cross-Team Coordination: Serve as the main point of contact across departments—creative, design, account, and project management—while collaborating with external production partners. Provide guidance on areas such as animation, photography, studio services, video production, editing, digital assets, and physical fabrication. Partner Network: Build and maintain relationships with external vendors and creative partners. Source, vet, negotiate, and manage a roster of skilled collaborators to help deliver high-quality work. Scope & Budget: Assist in defining project scope, timelines, and budgets in partnership with internal teams and external partners. Track progress, anticipate changes, and communicate updates clearly to ensure projects stay on track and within budget. Quality & Standards: Contribute to maintaining and elevating the quality of our work by recommending top talent, identifying new craftsmanship opportunities, and suggesting innovative approaches to mediums or processes. Compliance & Legal: Work closely with Business Affairs to handle production-related legal and compliance requirements, including risk assessments, documentation, and post-project reconciliations. Requirements 5+ years of agency experience in production. A passion for planning and executing creative vision without compromise, including a meticulous attention to detail, recognizing that small elements can significantly impact the success of a production. Excellent knowledge of project budgeting, resource management and scheduling, and time management. Familiarity with union guidelines and the basics of evaluating bids for production (AICP), post-production (AICE), photography, and other vendor services, coupled with robust negotiation skills. Exceptional multitasking skills to manage several projects simultaneously while maintaining composure. Quick adaptability and problem-solving capabilities in dynamic environments. Superior communication skills, both verbal and written, with a strong emphasis on follow-through. Proven ability to collaborate, promote communication, and inspire teamwork between a group of multidisciplinary people. Working experience with Microsoft Office, Slack, and Smartsheets. An intense drive to “get things done”, making innovative ideas come to life without having the perfect guidebook on how to do it. Impeccable communication and presentation skills with the ability to present to clients and internal stakeholders. Must submit a portfolio showing market-leading work for well-known brands, ideally work that's been recognized in the award circuit. MUST HAVE Senior Producer Level Experience Responsibilities Manage creative workflows, ensuring work is assigned and deadlines are met Represent and protect project requirements throughout the full production lifecycle Keep all projects on track, ensuring accountability across teams and to client goals Create and maintain detailed project documentation and regular status reports Collaborate with legal to draft and manage contracts and budgets for independent artists Demonstrate a strong understanding of localization workflows and requirements Identify scope creep early and proactively address potential risks Conduct quality control to ensure deliverables align with client expectations Translate client feedback into clear, actionable direction for the team Manage internal and external resources effectively to meet deadlines Maintain clear, professional, and consistent communication with clients Requirements 4+ years of experience managing design, motion or digital production-focused projects Strong relationship-building skills and the ability to foster a positive team environment Experience with AV (audio/video) projects is a major plus Excellent written and verbal communication skills An “over-communicator” who’s prepared and detail-oriented Confident leading meetings and presenting to large groups of stakeholders A true team player who’s willing to jump in wherever needed Comfortable with a fast-paced environment and frequent change Quick thinker with strong problem-solving instincts Proficient with Google Workspace and collaborative tools (docs, sheets, slides, etc.) Positive attitude and strong work ethic Experience with Airtable and/or Monday.com is a big plus A love of movies and series is a bonus!
