Reporting to the Director of Product Development, this position will be critical in defining new product concepts and benchmarks, while adhering to stringent cost, compliance and timeline deliverables. This role will collaborate closely with internal teams like Operations, Marketing, and Sales, as well as external partners like our contract manufacturers to help drive the successful launch of NPD. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Partner with PD + Marketing teams to design new product concepts, based on competitive/trend analytics, industry metrics, ingredient research and supplier innovation. Manage full product development lifecycle from product brief through first production completion, ensuring adherence to all timeline deliverables. Collaborate with Marketing counterpart with NPD creative copy development through final approvals with Legal + Regulatory teams. Review/Approve batch submissions, ensuring product specs + overall quality parameters. Manage master data project trackers, standards and lab samples. Support Project Management + Packaging team in qualifying components “fit for use”, confirming fill weights and assuring package material compliance. Manage claims sustainability efforts with respect to formula + packaging, executing annual assessments with the support of Operations + Regulatory, acting as key point of contact for retail programs. Liaise with 3rd party clinical testing partners to manage clinical studies; monitor reformulations; assist in developing NPD packaging briefs.
