Job Description Atlantic is seeking General Laborers to join our masonry & concrete crews. The general laborer is responsible for performing various non-specialty tasks at a construction site. These duties include loading or unloading materials, cleaning, sweeping, organizing, basic assembly, digging or filling holes, and assisting skilled tradespeople. This position requires lifting, bending, scooping, climbing, and handling of heavy construction materials. Requirements Verifiable work experience in construction Must be able to bend, stoop, lift, carry, and handle materials of up to 50 pounds Must be able to stand and walk for long periods Must be able to pass a drug test (including marijuana) Must pass federal background check Must be punctual and have reliable transportation. Firetrol Protection Systems is seeking a dedicated Fire Sprinkler Project Manager for our location in Dallas, Texas. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated and possess extensive experience in managing sprinkler system projects from conception to completion, ensuring all aspects are meticulously handled. This involves coordinating with subcontractors, tracking project timelines, and managing budgets. Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of sprinkler projects. Work closely with general contractors and clients to ensure all schedules are met. Examine all design documents thoroughly before fabrication begins. Approve and verify submittals for compliance with engineering standards and project requirements. Ensure the permitting process is carried out with local authorities having jurisdiction. Participate in project meetings, perform job site visits, and conduct site surveys as needed. Monitor project financials and identify potential cost savings. Review project timecards and monitor workforce allocation. Document and communicate any discrepancies or unclear instructions that could affect project coordination. Maintain communication with field foremen to address any changes throughout the project lifecycle. Requirements At least 10 years of experience in fire sprinkler installation. Minimum of 3 years in project management roles. Strong familiarity with NFPA 13, NFPA 20, NFPA 25, and FM Global Standards. Comprehensive understanding of Fire Sprinkler Design principles, including Wet, Dry, Preaction, and Deluge systems. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook. Day to day, you will find yourself: Meeting with the crews each morning to organize their day and any coordination that needs to happen with clients. Regular site visits to all of our gardens Organizing and scheduling crew routes and extra work.
