Job Overview: As a Crane Operator at RIGUPATL, you will be responsible for operating various types of cranes to lift, move, and position heavy loads safely and efficiently on job sites. Your expertise in crane operations and commitment to safety will be vital in ensuring the smooth execution of projects. You will work closely with riggers, foremen, and other team members to coordinate lifting operations and maintain a safe work environment. Duties and Responsibilities: Operate cranes and lifting equipment proficiently in accordance with safety regulations and company policies. Inspect equipment before each use to ensure safety and compliance. Collaborate with riggers and signal persons to coordinate lifting operations. Maintain accurate records of crane operations and daily inspections. Ensure loads are lifted and secured properly before moving. Communicate effectively with team members to report any issues or changes in operation. Participate in safety meetings and contribute to a culture of safety on-site. Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on cranes as needed. Adhere to all safety protocols and industry standards at all times. Requirements Required Certifications: Valid Crane Operator certification (e.g., NCCCO or equivalent), OSHA 30, Class A CDL, and DOT Card. Minimum of 3 years of experience operating cranes in construction or rigging environments. Strong understanding of crane operations, safety protocols, and load management. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Physically fit with the ability to handle heavy loads safely. Detail-oriented with a focus on safety and quality control. Willingness to work flexible hours and travel as required for projects. Benefits The hourly compensation range for this role is between $36.00 - $39.00. About the role: We're seeking a skilled and experienced Equipment Operator to support site prep and earthwork on a range of commercial construction projects. You'll operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently while working closely with the crew to ensure quality and productivity on-site. Clearsite Industrial Services is expanding and seeking professional Hydrovac Operators to join our business in Richmond, VA. Hydrovac Excavation is a non-destructive method of excavating as an alternative to mechanical equipment or hand-digging. Hydrovacs use pressurized water and a vacuum system to quickly, safely, precisely and cleanly excavate around utilities, pipelines and numerous other applications. MUST HAVE A MINIMUM CLASS “B” CDL LICENSE WITH TANKER ENDORSEMENT and CLEAN DRIVING RECORD. Key Responsibilities Seventy percent or more of the job’s work time is spent operating the on-board hydro-vacuum system outside the truck performing non-destructive excavation around sensitive underground piping and cables. Other Hydrovac work consists of cleaning and vacuuming, mobilization of equipment, truck maintenance, safety meetings, etc. Heavy lifting at times is required. Working at heights are sometimes required The job requires typical construction type hours with some weeks being less than 40 hours and other weeks very busy requiring 50 plus hours. Requirements MUST HAVE A MINIMUM CLASS “B” CDL LICENSE WITH TANKER ENDORSEMENT and CLEAN DRIVING RECORD. Minimum of 1 year driving experience with CDL Applicant shall agree to initial Drug/Alcohol testing and random testing thereafter OSHA10 safety card certification is required. (If applicant does not hold an OSHA10 certification, company will pay for computer based training with applicant completing on-line course within 5 days of hiring on their own. Certification is the property of the applicant.) Possess a current and valid DOT medical certificate. Criminal background check and safety performance verification will be conducted. Essential Job Functions: Drive and operate Hydrovac equipment in a safe and professional manner. Able to effectively and professionally communicate with on-sight customer representative to locate least intrusive and safest place to park company equipment while on job sight. Able to lead and direct subordinate personnel to perform duties/tasks in a safe, timely, and efficient manner. Able to troubleshoot and as the need arises perform minor repairs to equipment. Essential Physical Functions/Requirements of the Job: Hear and distinguish emergency signals and instructions while on duty. Must be able to repetitively sit, lift, stoop, bend, squat, kneel, reach and crawl. * Must be able to repeatedly lift a minimum of 50 pounds. Must be able to work in all outdoor elements for extended periods of time. Confined Space Entry may be required to accomplish tasks for some clients when applicable.
