TRP is seeking a Pavement Markings Laborer to become part of our Highway Striping Team, and to share our Core Values of increasing road safety of the traveling public and delivering the highest level of precision and excellence. Job Responsibilities: ·       Work with highway striping crew to install thermoplastic, waterborne paint and other pavement marking materials. ·       Perform and complete all work in compliance with DOT and quality guidelines, while maximizing production. ·       Adhere to all safety policies and procedures. ·       Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspection forms, and ensure equipment is in working order. ·       Perform maintenance and repair of equipment. ·       Properly load material on trucks. ·       Maintain proper safety equipment and uniform required for each job. You will be trained to operate different types of equipment, including: Thermoplastic Truck, Paint Truck, Hand Machines, Hand Grinder, Forklift, 3M Hand-Tape Machine, 3M Adhesive Applicator and Hand Roller Tamper Cart. Requirements Qualifications: ·       Self-starter with a strong work ethic. ·       Previous experience in pavement marking, highway construction, asphalt paving, or a related field, is a plus. ·       Must pass pre-employment background checks for criminal record, driving record, and controlled substance/drug testing. ·       Must have a valid driver’s license and good driving record, a CDL license is preferred. ·       Knowledge of local driving rules and regulations. ·       Carry out simple arithmetic functions. ·       Demonstrate mechanical aptitude and experience working with mechanics. ·       Knowledge and ability to adapt to the latest technology, including smart phones and applications. ·       Ability to adjust to changing work schedule. Physical Requirements: ·       Regularly lift and move up to 50 pounds to 100 pounds. ·       Occasionally lift and move more than 100 pounds. ·       Regular exposure to outside weather conditions, moving equipment and machinery parts, moving traffic, fumes, and airborne particles. ·       Noise level of the work environment is moderate to loud. Availability: ·       Monday – Friday. ·       Must be able to work some nights and weekends. ·       Must be able to work overtime. ·       Must be able to travel when necessary. Under this role, a porter not only works in the dish area, but maintains the cleanliness of the rest of the kitchen and the dining area and behind the bar.  Responsibilities: Maintaining a professional and respectful demeanor at all times Arriving to work punctually and dressed in the required uniform, including non-slip shoes, pants, snap shirt, apron, and hat or hairnet Setting up your station with sanitizer buckets and rags Wash, sanitize, dry, and restock dishes, pots, and pans. Maintain dish area organization and cleanliness. Check and clean drains. Refill paper towels, soap dispensers, and toilet paper. Maintain soap levels in dish machines. To operate Company crane for truss setting in residential construction. RESPONSIBILITIES: Follow all company rules and guidelines in regards to procedures and safety Arrive to work on time Operates boom crane with standard boom lengths and angles for loads well within the lifting capacity of the crane. Loads roofing material. Observes load hookup and determines safety of the load. Manipulates or depresses crane controls, such as pedals, levers, and buttons, to regulate speed and direction of crane and hoist movement according to written, verbal, or signal instructions. Cleans and maintains crane and hoisting mechanism. Inspects crane for defective parts and notifies supervisor of defects or malfunctions. Allowances must be made by the operator for changes in the lifting capacity of the crane caused by variations in the angle of the boom, length of the boom position, of the revolving frame, or slope of the terrain. Operates crane wearing a hard hat at all times. Complies with OSHA standards and safety guidelines.
