Job Title: Crane Operator Job Summary: Essel is seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Crane Operator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating various types of cranes to lift, move, position, and reposition loads at construction sites and industrial facilities. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience operating cranes, possess excellent communication skills, and prioritize safety in all operations. Key Responsibilities: Operate cranes to lift, move, and position materials and equipment safely and efficiently. Conduct pre-operation inspections of cranes and equipment to ensure they are in proper working condition. Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and load charts to determine the most effective lifting methods. Communicate clearly and effectively with ground crew members using hand signals and two-way radios. Monitor load weights and hydraulic pressure during operations to avoid overload. Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe work environment. Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on cranes and equipment as necessary. Assist in training and mentoring junior operators and laborers as needed. Qualifications: Proven experience as a Crane Operator with at least 3-5 years in the field. Valid crane operator certification/license as per local regulations. Strong understanding of safety protocols and equipment operations. Ability to work effectively in various weather conditions and job sites. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Ability to perform physical tasks associated with lifting and moving materials. Requirements Requirements: High School diploma or equivalent preferred. At least 3 years of experience operating cranes in a construction or industrial setting. Valid certification for crane operation (e.g., NCCCO, CIC, or equivalent). Experience with both rough terrain and tower cranes is an advantage. Ability to read and interpret technical documents and load charts. Reliable transportation and flexible availability for shifts, including weekends if necessary. Overview: The Equipment Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient movement of recreational vehicles (RVs) throughout the dealership property. This includes relocating units to service bays, cleaning stations, photo areas, and storage lots. Key Responsibilities: RV Movement & Equipment Operation Safely move RVs of various sizes around the dealership property, including service bays, storage areas, and PDI locations. Transport RVs to designated locations for cleaning, inspections, photography, and staging. Utilize tractors and forklifts as necessary to relocate units safely and efficiently. Lot & Inventory Organization Maintain cleanliness and organization of the lot and company property. Assist with staging and organizing RVs for service work based on daily work lists. Ensure all units are positioned properly and securely when parked or staged. Support Operations & Workflow Follow daily work assignments and complete tasks in a timely, organized manner. Communicate with the Service Manager and other team members to coordinate movement priorities. Assist with general maintenance and upkeep of outdoor workspaces. Safety & Compliance Operate all equipment safely and in accordance with company policies and OSHA regulations. Report equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to management promptly. Participate in ongoing safety training and follow all workplace safety procedures. Other Duties Perform other related duties and tasks as assigned by the Service Manager. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent required. Forklift and tractor operation experience required. Ability to work in fast-paced, outdoor environments and under varied weather conditions. An immediate position is open for a Project Administrator at an established HVAC company in Brooklyn NY. Duties and preferred requirements: Oversee HVAC projects from initiation to completion. Coordinate and schedule work with general contractors and/or customers. Attend meetings on site. Develop and maintain strong relationships with owners, general contractors, vendors, suppliers, employees and other sub-contractors on job sites. Oversee work progression by piping and sheet metal mechanics to ensure scheduled completion of job is on track. Ascertain and coordinate job site requirements with regards to equipment, tools, material and labor with the Engineer. Communicate and resolve with management any issues occurring at job sites. Prepare, release and track purchase orders for equipment and material for job sites. Ensure equipment and material deliveries are accurate and complete. Schedule delivery of equipment to job sites and oversee installation. Take field measurements, report on variances and make any adjustments needed. Submit and track submittals and change orders. Create and track RFIs. Prepare and submit close out documents as requested by customers. Must have excellent communication skills. Must be able to read CAD drawings. CAD drafting experience a PLUS.
