Our client needs a Senior Radiographer, Level II.  They manufacture components for the military and aerospace and are in the process of moving to digital radiography.  As a member of the quality department, you will help them create and test critical components for their customer base.  You will help to grow their NADCAP NDT capabilities (Film and Digital radiography, fluorescent penetrant inspection) to meet the increasing demand for advanced components. This is an excellent, well-established company that is on an aggressive growth curve. Must be a U.S. Citizen due to military contracts. What you will be doing: Perform radiographic operations including selection of appropriate techniques, positioning of materials, exposure of film, developing techniques, etc. to identify and assess defects in components and repair welds. Perform all darkroom procedures to develop film and/or process digital radiographic images. Interpretation of results to determine whether parts pass or fail inspection based on knowledge of codes, standards, and customer specifications. Prepare necessary documentation and certification. Review new customer orders to help determine proper processing through X-Ray operations. Assist in maintaining the radiographic inspection area, inspection room and radiographic equipment as needed. Maintaining accurate records of inspections and process logs as required by the method Participate in Nadcap accreditation activity Desire to increase technical and leadership skills in the field of Non-Destructive testing (NDT). Requirements What they are looking for: Post-High School education in NDT or a technical field preferred. Certification to Radiographic Testing Level II (RT Level II) is required Manufacturing or component level work, not pipelines Experience with SNT-TC-1A, NAS-410 or MIL-STD-271 for NDT are highly desired. Experience with DDA (digital X-ray) protocols or DDA Level 2 certification desirable. Able to work independently and follow written and verbal instructions. Strong work ethic, high attention to detail, and team player. Desire to increase technical and leadership skills in the NDT field. Good communication and computer skills. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Responsible for on-time and accurate shipping and delivery, ensuring that all items on Sales Orders are packaged and staged for order fulfillment. Record received inventory into the MRP system by ensuring items that are received match the Purchase Order and Packing Slip documentation. Loading and unloading trucks, wrapping products, packing, labeling, as well as operating a forklift when necessary. Responsible for product quality: reporting non-compliant parts and product to the appropriate managers. Pick parts to request and transact all inventory movements in ERP. Coordinate inventory workflows, maintain work order records, and perform cycle counts. Follow standard operating procedures and current quality specifications by having Working knowledge of standards and regulations as outlined in the QMS documentation and structure Operate within standard operating procedures and abide by all safety and security rules set forth by the company and regulatory agencies. Active participant in continuous improvement projects pertaining to but not limited to the Shipping and Receiving areas. Utilize IT tools provided to ensure work is organized to prevent errors and omissions as well as efficient execution of duties Communicate professionally (written and oral); adhere to company policies and employee handbook. Maintain clean, hazard-free work area and regular attendance Perform all other duties assigned. This position will pay $22.90/hour and work 9:00am- 5:30pm Monday through Friday. Job Summary Operate forklift equipment, cherry pickers, high reach equipment safely and effectively; maintain equipment and report malfunctions. Perform warehouse duties including receiving and locating product within the RF scanner technology. Accurately pick, stack, wrap and stage outbound freight ensuring that warehouse goals are met. Implement work in the prescribed sequence so deliver-by-date is met. Work proficiently to meet Productivity, Quality and Safety targets. Load/unload trucks. Maintain a strict housekeeping standards in accordance with 5S protocols. Report unsafe work conditions/environment in a timely basis. Cycle Counts & Stock Replenishment. Requirements High school degree or equivalent. Proven work experience safely operating forklifts, cherry picker and high reach equipment. Meet daily timelines and work in an environment, where assignments and work priorities are reviewed several times a day. Ability to use RF technology. Comfortable using a harness and line yard, as well as comfortable with heights Previous experience working in a warehouse preferred. Solid work history/tenure vs. job hopping is required. Good interpersonal skills; work well as a team but be self-motivated and independent at times. Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly; ability to stand on your feet for the duration of the shift. Able to read and write in English. Steel toed shoes/boots are required. Successful completion of a drug screen, physical, and criminal background check.
