As the Warehouse Manager, you will play a critical role in overseeing and optimizing our manufacturing warehouse operations. You will be responsible for managing all aspects of warehouse activities—receiving raw materials, maintaining proper storage, coordinating material flow to production, and ensuring accurate and timely distribution of finished goods. In this role, you will also champion safety compliance, enforce manufacturing-focused SOPs, and drive continuous improvement initiatives that keep our warehouse efficient, safe, and aligned with production demands. We are seeking a hands-on leader with a strong background in manufacturing warehousing—someone who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and can balance strategy with day-to-day execution while leading and motivating a team. Key Responsibilities Operational Leadership · Direct and optimize warehouse operations supporting manufacturing, including inbound materials, inventory staging, and outbound distribution. · Coordinate closely with production teams to ensure materials are available when needed, reducing downtime and ensuring on-time order fulfillment. Safety & Compliance ·Develop, implement, and enforce SOPs tailored to a manufacturing warehouse environment. ·Promote a culture of safety by ensuring compliance with OSHA and industry standards, conducting training, and driving accountability. Team Leadership ·Recruit, train, and lead warehouse staff, setting clear expectations and building a motivated, high-performing team. ·Provide coaching and performance feedback to foster professional growth and strong collaboration. Process & Efficiency Improvements ·Identify opportunities to streamline warehouse processes, minimize waste, and improve productivity in alignment with Lean Manufacturing principles. ·Implement best practices to support efficiency, accuracy, and cost savings. Inventory & Materials Control ·Oversee raw material, WIP (work-in-progress), and finished goods inventory to ensure accurate stock levels. ·Manage cycle counts, reconciliations, and audits to maintain accuracy and reduce variances. Equipment & Asset Management ·Supervise proper use and maintenance of forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment. ·Ensure compliance with safety standards and extend asset lifecycle through preventive maintenance. Performance & Reporting ·Define and monitor KPIs for warehouse productivity, accuracy, and safety. ·Maintain detailed records of all warehouse activities for compliance and operational visibility. Qualifications ·Experience: Minimum 3 years of warehouse management in a manufacturing or high-volume distribution environment. ·Systems Knowledge: Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS); ERP system experience highly preferred. ·Leadership: Proven track record of leading and developing teams in a manufacturing warehouse setting. ·Safety: Strong knowledge of warehouse and manufacturing safety regulations; OSHA training/certification a plus. ·Communication: Excellent written and verbal skills for clear direction, reporting, and collaboration across departments. ·Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and remain on feet for extended shifts. ·Flexibility: Willingness to work extended hours or shifts as needed to meet production demands. ·Licenses: Valid driver’s license required; forklift certification preferred. Salary Range: $62,400 – $72,800 annually
