Training and IPC-A-610 Acceptability of Electronic Assemblies Training. Assembler III: All functions required at Assembler I and II levels. Remove and replace SMT components without board damage. Perform SMT rework. Provide back-up support for lead in their absence. Write ECO to have assembly and document issues corrected. Complete NCP form when non-conforming product is identified. Successfully complete IPC-7711/IPC-7721 Rework and Repair of Electronic Assemblies Training. Job Title: Welder Location: Waterloo, Iowa Salary: $23-26/hour  Job Summary of the Welder: We are looking to hire 2 Full-Time Experienced Welders who can read blueprints.  Job Duties & Responsibilities of the Welder: ·        Operate various pieces of equipment, including hand plasma, saws, brake press, and deburring equipment. ·        Weld quality parts set by blueprint specifications using jigs when available, while meeting production standard times. ·        Keep work area clean and organized. ·        Be safe in all operations of the job.  Requirements  Education & Experience Requirements of the Welder: ·        Requires a High School degree or GED. ·        1+ years of experience working in a manufacturing environment. ·        Ability to read blueprints. ·        Must be able to layout parts and fabricate as needed. ·        Requires an on-site weld test prior to placement. (Mig) ·        Proficient in measuring and calculating fractions, decimals, and angles. ·        Must be able to utilize various measurement tools, including but not limited to square, angle square, calipers, tape measure (to 1/32”). ·        Use of wrenches, air tools, hand-held grinders, overhead cranes, steel handling and lifting skills. ·        Forklift experience or ability to train on the operation of a forklift.

POSITION OVERVIEW: We are seeking a Test Engineering Technician to join the test engineering team at Qualitel. In this role, you will primarily be troubleshooting and resolving failures in Printed Circuit Board Assemblies (PCBAs), ensuring our products meet the highest quality and reliability standards. This position requires a solid understanding of electronics, strong analytical and diagnostic skills, and a meticulous attention to detail. You’ll be working closely with cross-functional teams, supporting continuous improvement efforts in our Circuit Card Assembly (CCA) test and debug processes. KEY SUCESS FACTORS: 1 Month Goals: o Complete all company training o Gain familiarity with Qualitel’s internal software tools and systems o Demonstrate proficiency using basic test equipment (DMMs, o-scopes, power supplies) o Identify and troubleshoot basic manufacturing errors (e.g., solder bridges, backwards/missing components) 3 Month Goals: o Independently perform functional testing and initial troubleshooting on assigned PCBAs o Accurately document failures and root causes in accordance with company procedures o Begin interpreting schematics and test documents to troubleshoot to component level 6 Month Goals: o Routinely troubleshoot complex PCBA failures down to the component level o Act as a resource for newer technicians; provide informal guidance or peer training o Identify and recommend process or documentation improvements to enhance yield and efficiency o Take ownership of select product lines or test areas; drive quality and throughput PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:  Perform functional testing and debug of PCBAs using standard electronic test equipment (oscilloscopes, multimeters, Automated Test Equipment, etc.).  Troubleshoot failed PCBAs and identify manufacturing defects such as shorts, opens, missing or reversed components.  Interpret schematics, drawings, and test documentation to isolate and resolve issues down to the component level.  Maintain detailed failure documentation and test records for traceability and process improvement.  Support production, quality, and engineering teams by providing feedback on test results and recurring failure trends.  Participate in test development and continuous improvement initiatives.  Ensure all work is completed accurately, on time, and within established labor standards. Communicate effectively with other technicians, supervisors, and management. The Senior Inspector performs receiving, in-process, and final inspection on electronic systems, electromechanical assemblies, or mechanical assemblies and subassemblies. Accepts, rejects, or reworks defective units or systems. Determines or assists in determining methods, sequences, and procedures necessary for inspection. The position requires communication between production, project management, shipping/receiving, and quality management. JACO Machine Works is an AS9100 certified machine shop supporting the medical, aerospace and semiconductor industries. We are in immediate need of a CNC lathe machinist for our growing operation. This position is for first shift with overtime available who can: • Perform setups and operation of 7-axis CNC lathes, screw machines, and Multi-axis turret machines. • Retrieve machine programs from database, create/read tool lists for job. • Accurately set tools and work offsets. Change tooling as needed to restore operation. • Ensure produced parts meet drawing specifications with standard inspection instruments. • Able to troubleshoot and perform basic edits of G-code to solve problems. • Read CMM reports and adjust machine offsets as needed. • Follow work instructions and communicate with Supervisor. • Train machine operators on any job that you set up. • Deburring of parts when needed. • Perform basic machine maintenance. • Keep work area clean and organized. Required Job Skills: • Must be organized and accurate with documentation. • Familiarity with Fanuc and Mitsubishi or similar controls. • Must have good knowledge of machine processes of manufacturing and problem-solving skills to ensure strict quality/dimensional and cosmetic standards. • Able to work with tight tolerances like +/-.0002” • Must have a strong work ethic and work well with others. • Must have good knowledge of G and M codes. • Must be knowledgeable of GD&T. Desired Education/Experience: • High school diploma or equivalent qualification required. • Certificate or diploma in engineering is an advantage • 5-10 years' experience as a CNC machine operator or setup • Experience with Ganesh or Tornos turning equipment. • CAD/CAM experience a plus • Experience with JobBoss shop software a plus. • Background in AS9100 work environment.
