General: The production process operator - Bird Hanger / Positioner is responsible for maintaining and servicing the manufacturing processes by securing birds on the production line at the start of harvesting and/or during evisceration or deboning. The key task of safely and efficiently hanging 45 lbs. birds is achieved by an ergonomically designed conveying system that eliminates the need to fully lift birds. Key responsibilities include some inspection, correctly positioning, and placement of birds' legs or hocks in conveyed shackles. The position reports to the process supervisor w/ primary work schedule of day shift , Mon. - Thurs. 7am - 5:30pm OR 5:00am - 3:30pm with flexibility to work early/ late shift, short notice overtime on Friday, as needed. We are seeking Production Associates/Assemblers for the remainder of the year. Our normal working hours are Monday - Friday, 9am - 5:30pm and your hours will be 35-40 hours/week. Depending on mutual interest and business needs, this may convert to a full-time position in January. You will be working in our Production and Post-Production Team to prep, pour, clean, label, and pack our candles. The ideal teammate will have attention to small details and is able to perform repetitive tasks at an acceptable pace and maintain quality. The job is rewarding, but also requires a lot of manual labor, so these individuals should be able to stand on their feet 8 hours per day, lift 50 lb boxes throughout the day, and work with their hands.
