Gayle Manufacturing Company (GMC) is a Structural Steel Fabrication Company recruiting employees for our large new facility in Caldwell ID, as well as our plant in Nampa ID. GMC currently has openings for Welders offering excellent career opportunities for responsible, motivated individuals. Qualifications / Requirements: • Flux Core or MIG welding experience. • An ability to train in all aspects of heavy structural steel welding and fabrication, with the primary use of Flux Core processes in welding operations. • GMC trains employees extensively, so eagerness, energy, and desire to build a career are most important, and result in opportunities and advancement. • 10 hour shifts (M-F) with some 8 hour Saturday shifts are common, and a shift incentive is paid to the select employees working on GMC’s 2nd Shift. Compensation / Benefits: • GMC’s outstanding benefit package, includes employer-paid health insurance premiums as well as employer-funded retirement plans, PTO, and paid holidays. • Current starting Welder payrate = $25 p/hr. with up to a $1 increase to $26 p/hr. when converted to Regular status at the 90-day employment milestone. • Employees are evaluated regularly and have the potential to greatly increase responsibilities and earnings. • Starting Annual Compensation Package including employer-paid health insurance premiums with normal overtime ranges from $82,000 to $100,000, which does not include GMC’s employer-funded retirement plans, PTO, and paid holidays. • Importantly, there are ongoing opportunities for steady growth and advancement at GMC. • Being part of a team which has been responsible for fabrication and erection of over 1000 buildings, including complex commercial office buildings, high rises, major hospitals, university buildings, airports, arenas, & more.
