Complete documentation on defective parts. Essential Duties • Operator molding and other production machines in a safe and efficient manner, notifying the lead or supervisor if there are any problems. Some troubleshooting skills are required. • Visually inspect parts and determine if they meet the acceptable quality limits. Conduct quality checks using measuring equipment. • Package parts as specified to ensure proper and safe handling of the product. • Log all rejects on the Attribute Charts. • Review the operator inspection procedure before taking over any job. • Label all boxes after packaging to ensure proper handling of parts. • Ability to use basic measuring Equipment. • Degate and trim parts as required using secondary machinery to accomplish. • Ability to perform secondary operations such as gluing, welding, trimming, and some assembly. • Ability to use part count scale. Required Education and Experience • High school diploma or GED equivalent. • Knowledge of various measuring equipment. • 6 months of consistent and recent work history Required Skills • Strong written/verbal communication • Good decision-making skills • Ability to work under time constraints with changing priorities. • Regular and predictable attendance. • Ability to sit and stand for long periods of time. • Basic math skills. • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. • Ability to work overtime as needed. • Basic PC and internet skills. This is position is responsible for the care, maintenance, and repairs of plant utility equipment and systems in a cGMP manufacturing environment for dietary supplements and cosmetics. Coordinates and performs ongoing preventive and corrective maintenance on various process equipment and critical utility systems in the plant. Requirements Job Duties and Responsibilities Perform repairs on facilities' equipment when it malfunctions: failure diagnosis, analytical trouble-shooting to determine root cause, tear down, repair, and restore operation to a minimum of inconvenience to a served area. Perform preventative maintenance required for all equipment as defined in SOPs in order to keep equipment operating at a high level of quality and reliability. Performs a predefined portion of that maintenance and coordinates/monitors the remaining portion of such preventative maintenance completed by external contractors. Provides input to management in regards to refining the type and frequency of preventative maintenance procedures. Provide operational support and troubleshooting of packaging and filling lines, including line speeds, product changeovers, operating errors, and general functionality Install, de-bug, and evaluate new equipment Establish and maintain record keeping system and repair histories Provide training support for machine operators on proper utilization and safety of plant equipment Establish contact, coordinate, and liaise with vendors as needed for onsite service, repairs, and warranty claims when applicable; supervise and inspect vendor work to assure quality Perform other building maintenance functions as required (e.g. furniture moves, basic electrical and plumbing repairs, mechanical, etc.) Enforce all safety procedures and polices as prescribed by management Additional responsibilities as assigned Required Skills & Qualifications High school education Minimum 3 years experience in a related field Some vocational mechanical training and/or electrical training Strong attention to detail, critical thinker, with excellent analytical abilities. Good written and oral communication skills. Able to lift up to 50+ pounds from pallet to floor. Ability to stoop, kneel, bend and be comfortable in tight confined spaces. Ability to work with hand tools with dexterity. Ability to wear half and full face respirators for extended durations of time. Ability to wear safety harness for altitude repairs. Preferred Skills & Qualifications 2-3 years working in a cGMP facility in a facilities capacity performing equipment and building maintenance. Previous recording and or documentation practices in an FDA regulated environment Ability to read and follow equipment schematics for diagnosis and repair. Ability to work with integral electronics systems of manufacturing equipment. Summary Under the direct supervision of the Forklift lead, the Technician is responsible for performing periodic maintenance, repair, replacement and limited troubleshooting on various models of material handling equipment. Must be proficient in completing all required paperwork needed to perform all job requirements. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned: Able to read and understand electrical and hydraulic system schematics Able to repair, or replace major system components, including circuit boards and other electrical parts, hydraulic, mechanical, L.P. systems, power steering and transmissions, engines with limited supervision. Troubleshoot and diagnose most truck components Perform engine tune-ups on most makes of equipment without supervision Perform proper PM's in a timely manner Be able to troubleshoot and diagnose most complex electrical systems on IC and electric trucks Be able to use and maintain all special tools properly. Maintain and properly use the normal tools of the trade. Must have own tools. Follows all safety procedures in performing work as well as company policies Demonstrates exceptional customer service skills Properly identify and order all necessary replacement parts Perform other duties as required per management 4+ years of previous forklift repair experience Supervisory Responsibilities This job has no supervisory responsibilities. JOB SUMMARY The Parts Finisher performs repetitive bench or line assembly operations to produce various types of specified products in addition to completing routine tasks of hand washing or operating the ultra-sonic wash machine to clean manufactured components.    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Deburs parts with tools such as deburring wheels, reamers, drills, sandpaper, scotchbrite, small files, or small pneumatic tools. Loads and unloads materials or parts from washer to specified area. Immerses objects in washing and rinsing solutions to remove debris. Washes parts in ultrasonic machine or solvent, dries parts, examines parts, removes debris. Measures and pours soap or chemical into wash water, set controls to regulate cycle of wash and water temperature. Inspects parts, some under microscope. Responsible for Heli-Coil installation Completes parts assembly (non-electronic parts) and packaging. Completes paperwork. Operates a pallet jack / other moving equipment. REQUIRED SKILLS / ATTRIBUTES Ability to communicate effectively with supervisor as needed. Ability to follow oral and written instructions. Ability to recognize and sort materials. Ability to operate machinery. Strong work ethic: Willing to work OT to meet tight deadlines as needed.   EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE Previous general labor experience in a machine shop environment preferred.
