A Machine Operator ensures that the final product complies with the company's quality standards which includes the reliability, usability and performance of the product. In general, these detail-oriented professionals are responsible for using tools to perform hourly checks to ensure quality standards are met and the equipment is running properly. KEY RESPONSIBILITES: Safety: maintain a safe work environment through training, adherence to policies and housekeeping. Carry out production, inspection, packaging and machine operation duties Effectively monitor production equipment Make adjustments to machinery when necessary to improve performance and quality Troubleshoot issues and perform routine maintenance on equipment Perform quality control checks, follow reporting and recordkeeping procedures, and report problems to supervisor Minimum 18 years of age. This position is located in the fantastic city of Buellton, CA, and is a full-time opportunity. The schedule is Monday through Friday 7am to 4pm. Some weekend and OT work will be required when necessary, and the pay rate for this position is $18 to $20 an hour (DOE). **This position requires a background check and drug test** Duties & Responsibilities: Participate in the handling, formulation, and production of raw ingredients and finished products. Work to ensure compliance with all regulations and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Organize and maintain supplies and equipment, and help maintain a clean and sanitary facility by participating in cleaning protocols. Maintain accurate records, including production schedules, maintenance, cleaning, and inventory. Operate major equipment for the manufacturing and in-house transportation of dietary supplements and raw ingredients. Communicate well with colleagues and management to ensure a smooth and effective production process. Ensure all safety protocols are followed, and equipment and facilities are operated safely and correctly. Skills & Qualifications High School Diploma or Equivalent Must have a positive, willing attitude and work well within a group. Must have the ability to stoop, bend and safely lift reasonable amounts of weight, and spend significant portions of your workday on your feet. Must be able to work a regular 40-hour week with scheduled overtime, including some evening/weekend shifts.
