At Whiteline Express, you’ll keep our trucks and trailers running strong. You’ll handle diagnostics, maintenance, and full repairs on brakes, transmissions, rear-ends, clutches, diesel engines, electrical systems, and welding or fabrication work. You’ll remove, fix, reinstall, and adjust parts, inspect your work, and make sure everything meets safety rules and regulations. You’ll also lead the crew, assign tasks, check work, guide on tough repairs, and help train others. You’ll manage parts using TMT, handle after-hours repairs when needed, respond to service calls, and keep maintenance records up to date. You’ll open and close the shop and make sure everything runs smoothly and safely. We’re looking for someone with solid diesel mechanic experience (lead or supervisory experience is a plus), strong mechanical, electrical, and welding skills, and the ability to use diagnostic tools and repair software (TMT a bonus). You need a valid driver’s license (CDL preferred or willing to get one) and the flexibility to work varied hours, including after-hours calls. What You’ll be doing as a Diesel Mechanic: Supervise shift mechanics by assigning tasks, verifying completed work, and assisting with training and disciplinary actions as needed. Authorize and oversee after-hours repairs in alignment with company policies and procedures. Manage parts inventory using TMT, including ordering, receiving, and tracking of parts and supplies. Perform diagnostics, maintenance, and full-service repairs on heavy-duty vehicles and trailers, including work on brakes, transmissions, rear-ends, clutches, diesel engines, electrical systems, and welding/fabrication tasks. Remove, repair, reinstall, and adjust vehicle components; conduct thorough final inspections to ensure all repairs meet federal and state safety regulations. Complete detailed work orders and maintain accurate maintenance and repair records. Respond to on-site service calls and provide support as needed. Collaborate with technicians and provide guidance on complex repairs and troubleshooting. Open and close the maintenance facility, ensuring readiness and security of operations. Diesel Mechanic Required Qualifications: Proven experience as a diesel mechanic; supervisory or lead technician experience preferred. Proficiency with diagnostic tools and repair software (experience with TMT a plus). Strong mechanical, electrical, and welding skills. Excellent problem-solving and communication abilities. Maintenance Technician / Electrical Systems Base Salary: $75,000 to $80,000 + $3,000 sign-on bonus + OT Eligible  We're looking for a skilled and experienced Maintenance Technician with a focus on electrical systems to join our team at our facility. This is an onsite, full-time role that is a core part of our maintenance team, supporting our manufacturing and production operations. We're a company that produces advanced materials for customers who operate in high-stress environments, from aerospace and defense to medical technology and clean energy. Key Responsibilities Diagnose and Repair: You will diagnose, test, maintain, and repair electrical and electronic equipment. This includes hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems; variable speed AC and DC motor drives; programmable logic controllers (PLCs); and combustion systems. Troubleshoot and Inspect: You'll serve as a team member or leader to inspect and troubleshoot electrical and electronic malfunctions. Using instruments such as oscilloscopes, voltmeters, and ammeters, you will test faulty equipment to identify the cause of the issue. Component Replacement: You will replace defective components and wiring, and adjust mechanical parts using both hand tools and soldering irons. Calibration and Maintenance: You'll align, adjust, and calibrate equipment according to specifications. You will also maintain detailed records of repairs, calibrations, and tests. Computer-Based Diagnostics: You will use computers to diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and upgrade process control equipment and PLCs. Instruction and Collaboration: You may be required to instruct maintenance repair crews and collaborate with production teams for diagnostic and testing purposes. Requirements Qualifications Education: A High School Diploma or equivalent is required. Experience: You must have a minimum of 2 years of industrial maintenance experience or an Associate's Degree in an electrical or mechanical-related curriculum. Skills: You must be proficient in the repair and maintenance of complex electrical and electronic systems, including PLCs and motor drives. Other: This is an onsite role with no travel required.
