The maintenance technician is responsible for performing duties to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production and facility equipment according to safety, predictive, and productive maintenance systems and processes. Job Duties: - Perform duties to install and maintain production machines and the plant facility’s equipment. - Troubleshoots and repairs mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical/electronic equipment, including programmable controls, numerical controls, power supplies, drives, gauges, and test equipment. - Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment and perform scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service. - Perform simple machinist duties and responsibilities. - Installs, starts up, and shuts down equipment following company safety procedures for machine activation and shutdown, and in line with OSHA requirements. - Perform mechanical skills, including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting, and repair of production machines. - Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service. - Diagnose problems, make necessary adjustments, test, replace, or repair parts. - Perform regular preventative maintenance on machines, equipment, and plant facilities. - Maintains maintenance records for identified equipment. - Assists maintenance personnel with technical troubleshooting. - Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas. Requirements: - High school diploma/GED - 5+ years of manufacturing experience, strong hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and industrial skills with some PLC experience. Additional Eligibility Qualifications: - Completion of a craft apprenticeship, or an equivalent number of years of education and production maintenance experience.
$25-28/hour
