Job Description Production Technician – 2nd Shift Location: Georgetown, TX Schedule: 6pm–6am | $22/hour Sun–Tuesday and every other Wednesday OR Thurs–Saturday and every other Wednesday Employment Type: Full-Time Job Overview: Join TSS as a Production Technician on our 2nd shift team, where you will play a vital role in installing and configuring server racks and network hardware. This position focuses on hands-on hardware installation, cable management, and troubleshooting IT infrastructure within a dynamic data center production environment. You’ll collaborate closely with team members and leadership to achieve production goals while maintaining high standards of quality and safety. Key responsibilities include performing system integrations, operating production equipment, conducting routine maintenance, and providing insightful feedback to ensure smooth operations. Key Responsibilities: Install, configure, and integrate servers and network switches into racks Follow precise instructions for systems integration and hardware setup Operate production equipment (such as pallet jacks) per SOPs Conduct regular cleaning, lubricating, and part replacement for machinery Diagnose and resolve equipment issues to minimize downtime Maintain accurate production and maintenance records Monitor production for adherence to strict quality benchmarks Promote and follow all safety protocols, reporting hazards promptly Collaborate with supervisors and team members to optimize workflows Recommend process and efficiency improvements when applicable Skills & Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification preferred Experience in manufacturing, production, or a similar role Strong mechanical aptitude with proven problem-solving abilities Familiarity with safety standards and production procedures Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively Attention to detail and commitment to quality work Flexibility for overtime and various schedules Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs Willingness to work in fast-paced, noisy environments and wear PPE as required If interested, please send a resume to us along with your shift preference! The candidate should be willing to go through at a minimum our in house apprentice program learning more conventional machinists skills, like the ones shown below A Conventional Journeyman Machinist is a person who can do the following; 1: Setup a manual lathe, and is proficient at truing material in a 4 jaw chuck 2: Familiar with turning and boring long material in a steady rest 3: Have the ability to hold close tolerances 4: Proficient in reading and understanding drawings, layouts, and conventional millwork. Candidates must pass a written test which consists of measurements, conversions of fractions/decimals, and tool descriptions. A hands-on test may also be given if you pass the written test. Argus Machine, a precision machine shop has a need for an experienced CNC Master Programmer capable of 5th axis, and proven history of complex parts. Our company is a mid-sized job shop that manufactures tight tolerance components for multiple local industries. We are looking for a self-motivated individual that has good programming and machining discipline, and experience with tight tolerance machining to work in our clean, friendly environment. Must be able to work in a team environment. Job Description  Responsible for the programming, verification and proofing of CNC Mill/Lathe machined parts utilizing Mastercam 24/25 CAD/CAM software. Must be at or above intermediate level on 4th and preferably 5th axis programming and clearly able to articulate the planning steps required for successful execution of new jobs.  Setup/Run new prototype jobs, preparing instructions for future production runs.  Thorough knowledge of CNC Machining and Programming. Must be proficient in set-up and operation of vertical machining centers (Haas and Fadal VMC's) and CNC lathes.  Solid understanding of the appropriate use of diverse types of tooling for efficient and cost-effective machining.  Develop setup instructions, tooling documentation, and required graphics to current in-house procedures. Support standard post processor development. Knowledge of Microsoft Excel capability a plus.  Modify and troubleshoot running programs on machines to support production requirements.  Estimate labor and materials in support of our Bid and Proposal efforts, when required.  Ability to interpret blueprints and GD&T (ANSI Y14.5M). Intermediate level Quality Inspection capability.  10 years minimum production machining experience and 5 years minimum programming experience.
