Right now, we’re hiring for our Sew Department, where we turn raw materials into engineered shade structures using sewing machines, heat welders, and hands-on fabrication gear. What You’ll Be Doing: Running industrial sewing machines to assemble fabric panels Using hot-air and RF welders to seam heavy-duty vinyl Measuring, cutting, and assembling parts with precision Working indoors with a skilled shop team — fast-paced but clean and organized You Don’t Need to Be a Sewer. We’ll train the right person. If you’ve worked with tools, construction materials, or shop equipment, you’ll pick it up fast. Technical Competencies: • High school or equivalent education preferred. • Have 1+ year or more of MIG Welding experience. • Production welding with sheet metal experience preferred. • Must demonstrate the capability of welding sheet metal products by passing welding test. • Proficient in reading and understanding blueprints and engineering specifications. • Basic reading, writing and numerical ability. • Proficient in using measuring devices as required for product inspection. • Available and willing to work extended hours and/or weekends as production demands dictates. • Must be able to work with minimal supervision. We are a food manufacturing company in Los Angeles, CA, specializing in the production and packaging of Asian foods such as spring rolls, wontons, fortune cookies, etc. We are seeking an industrial maintenance mechanic. As a maintenance mechanic, you will be responsible for keeping facility equipment in good working condition. Responsibilities: • Ensure all equipment repairs and installations are performed in compliance with food safety requirements. • Communicate with supervisor regarding any issues or concerns. • Ensure mechanical systems are in good condition to prevent downtime. • Ensure all work orders are completed on time. • Perform weekly inspections to identify any deficiencies or concerns and report findings to the maintenance supervisor. • Follow company safety and food safety policies. • Use lockout/tagout procedures when working on equipment. • Assist with other repairs or tasks as needed. • PPE is required. • Additional tasks may be assigned. Requirements: • 3-5 years of industrial maintenance experience • Electrical experience • Troubleshooting skills • Read, write, and speak English (Spanish is a plus) • Use hand tools • Solve problems using collected data • Understand lockout/tagout procedures • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for prolonged periods. • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
