Come be a part of a small manufacturing business making high end, custom, oversized pivot doors. Pivot Door Company has been in business for over 12 years. As we grow we’re looking for good natured, energetic woodworkers to help us expand. The work environment is friendly and cooperative. Hours are 7am - 3:30pm Monday thru Friday, 40 hours a week. We do not install or visit job sites. All work is done in our manufacturing warehouse. CURRENTLY WE ARE LOOKING TO FILL ONE POSITION! JAMB SANDING/FINISHING (entry level): take the finalized jamb components and sand them to a finish quality, making various repairs such as chip/blowout repair and knot filling. Using pneumatic sanders and sanding blocks. Interested individuals should: ● Pay attention to detail and quality ● Be accurate with a tape measure ● Experience with the tools is a plus, however, is not required. ● Be prepared to spend full 8/hr days sanding wood components. Other things to consider: This is a manufacturing warehouse. Temperatures will vary. It will be a dusty, noisy environment. Eye protection is required at all times.
